How 2 Rock Stripes

Happy Friday Darling Divas!!
This week we are back to back on the blog! Yesterday we talked all about Summer looks, and today we are going to talk about stripes! I feel like stripes are a much-needed piece in any wardrobe. I know sometimes Plus Size women are told to avoid stripes, but that is just a bunch of Bull*Sh*t! If you love it, then wear it and make sure you slay while doing it! So today I am going to give you 4 quick tips on how to rock stripes for the season! Let’s begin!

I hope you loved this short and sweet video! I always love when I get to do little video’s like this because it gets straight to the point! If you want any more styling tip videos like this, just let me know in the comments!
Stripes that you need in your Closet!

Plus Size Open-Shoulder Shirt

Striped Short Sleeve Crop Top from Eloquii

A Quick recap of the tips shown in the video
Since we are working with some pretty basic colors accessories, or a funky shoe to also add a pop of color!
Mixing prints are god’s gift to fashion! It’s a great way to express yourself, and you would be surprised what prints you can rock with stripes. From polka dots, to Sunflowers get a little crazy and make a statement this season!
Adding texture to any look is going to give the outfit structure and dimension. And if you are glam girl like me you have plenty of sequins and fur laying around, so rock it with some stripes!
Yup you read that right. You should pair your stripes with…MORE STRIPES! I love any type of 2 piece, monochromatic look, so this is a match made in heaven for me! Haven’t tried stripes on stripes? Give it shot! I promise you wont look like an inmate.
So ladies go through that closet and pick up those stripes this season! Feel free to use this guide to pair it with so
mething new! That concludes the blog post for this week, but you know we will be right back here next Wed and Fri, so be sure to come right back next week! Are you following me on social media? Dia&Co (December) Styling and Try-On Video

Hello All My Darling Divas,
Welcome back to another day here on the blog! Yesterday on the blog we talked about my Dia&Co unboxing for the month of December. Today, of course, I am going to show you the styling and try on video for that unboxing! If you missed it, then click here to check that out! In yesterday’s video, I announce that the monthly Dia&Co unboxing is coming to an end, but that doesn’t mean that all the Dia fun is! I will be popping in ever now and then with a Dia Unboxing, so be on the lookout for those in the new year. Let’s get into the video!

So, ladies, did you enjoy? I hope so! I am really thrilled that I got to try on some new styles and some styles that I haven’t worn in awhile! Want to see what I kept and sent back?

Genevieve Denim Shift

Size: 1X

Keeping: Yes

There is no way that I can live without this dress! I just love it so much! It was such a pleasant surprise because I never thought in a million years that I would like a dress like this! That just goes to show you that it’s super important to try something on before you judge it. It’s so casual, and there are so many ways to rock this dress.

I paired this dress with a fringe jacket and boots, and that’s honestly what make me keep it! So I definitely recommend you styling the dress that way if you’re a bohemian gal’! It can also be worn for a super casually with a pair of sneakers and a bomber jacket.

Giselle Distressed Skinny Jeans

Size: 18

Keeping: Yes

I think I have a weakness for jeans. Every time I get a pair, I get instantly hooked! I couldn’t let this pair of jeans go! The distressed detailing is amazing, and I love the cuff detail at the bottom. I don’t have any jeans like this in my wardrobe right now, so they had to stay!

There are a billion and one ways to style jeans. And I will never stop sharing those ways with you! This distressed pair of jeans can be paired with a chunky heel and turtleneck for a chic, casual look, or with a tank top, blazer, and a printed pump for a stylish night out!

Mae Cold Shoulder Top

Size:1X

Keeping: No

I was very impressed by this top. It fit well and made me definitely interested in trying more from Jessica Simpsons brand. Unfortunately, I am sending it back, but only because I am not in love with it.

A beautiful blouse like this is so easy to style. Pair it with jeans, boots, and a cardigan for Fall, or with shorts and sandals if you’re going on vacation like me!

Lesha Dress

Size: 1X

Keeping: No

I like this dress, but I don’t love this dress. I feel like its just a bit too short, and it doesn’t flatter me as much as I would like. I do like the faux wrap detail, and but I just know I wouldn’t wear this dress as much, so I sent it back.

A black dress like this is perfect for NYE! I would pair it with gold accessories to give it a pop, and with a red heel to add just a splash of color.

Ariana Lace Trim Tunic

 Size: 1x

Keeping: No

I really did like this top. I love the lace detailing, and how comfortable it was! I only am sending it back because I have to get Christmas gifts for my family!!!! I probably will ask for again in a future box because it really was the best!

I would go all edgy with a tank top like this. I have no idea why it screams biker chick to me, but I am going to run with it! I would pair it with black skinny jeans, a gray ankle boot, and a moto jacket for a bad@$$ weekend look!

Liberty Bag

Size: OS

Keeping: No

I think I forgot to mention that this was an extra 6th item in my box this month! How cool is that! This item I also liked but didn’t love. A white purse would just get dirty very easy, so I sent it back. I didn’t create a collage for this purse since you can pretty much pair it with any casual look!

Well, ladies, that’s it for the last Dia&Co styling and try on video for 2016! Don’t be sad about it, though! Dia&Co (Nov) Styling and Try On Video

Hello, All My Darling Divas!

If you missed that, then you can click here to check it out! In today’s video, I show you guys what each item looks like tried on, what I am going to keep and send back, and how I would style each piece. If you want to order a Dia box of your very own, then click here! So let’s get into the video!

Did you enjoy the try on??? I hope so! I really enjoyed my box this month, and just had to keep each piece! So let’s get into the breakdown!

 State Street Crossbody
Size: OS
Keeping?: Yes!

This crossbody bag is pretty much my ENTIRE LIFE! I love small crossbody bags like this. They come in handy for everything! A crossbody bag like this is simple to style. I love pairing cheetah print with olive green, so I would pair this bag with a pair of distressed olive green skinny jeans a black top and boots for a cute weekend look!

For Cheeta Crossbody
 Eloquii Rosa Midi Skirt
Size: 20
Keeping?: Yes!
Sorry for the terrible photo! I had to screen shot it from the video since I forgot to take an actual picture! I surprisingly don’t have a lot of skirts in my closet, so this green one had to stay! It’s perfect for the holidays! I would wear it with a bodysuit tucked in, pumps, and a jeweled clutch for Christmas party, or I would rock it with an oversized sweater and chucks for a casual look!
For Green Midi Skirt
Fashion To Figure- Camden Bomber Jacket
Size:1X
Keeping?: Yes!
I love this jacket!! It’s super soft and fits me so well. I am usually not a fan of floral print, but something about this jacket just makes me so happy.  I would rock this bomber jacket with a skater skirt and booties for a casual look! If I wanted to dress it up, I would pair it with Faux leather leggings, pumps, and a green clutch for an edgy look!
For Floral Bomber Jacket
 JunaRose- Maya Hi-Low Top
Size: 1x

Keeping?: Yes!

I surprisingly don’t have a lot of basics in my wardrobe, so this piece had to stay with me. There are so many things you can do with a simple piece like this. I would dress it down with joggers and boots, or dress it up with a fabulous pencil skirt and a choker!
For Black Top
 ASOS Curve Velvet Leggings
Size: UK20
Keeping?: YES!
If it’s velvet, I have to have it!! It is my fave clothing material, and I swear if I could wear anything for the rest of my life it would be something made out of velvet. I have had my eyes on this pair of leggings for so long, and I am glad I snagged them! I would pair them with a top and jean jacket for a casual look, or a tunic top and red pumps to add some color to them to dress them up!
For Velvet Leggings
So ladies this completes the Dia&Co November Styling and Try on video! If you were counting along, then you know that this was another Full Box Purchase!!
