It has been a fabulous 7 years of fashion, makeup, fun, and a whole lot more! From the bottom of my heart, I just want to say thank you to all my darling divas. Did you enjoy? I hope so! The video was already almost 30 mins long so I couldn’t include the rest of footage. If you liked what you saw let me know and I will do a part 2! For now, let’s just reminisce about the 3 blog posts that we did get to see!

11/10/10
This was the very first blog post at NoMinusPlus, and it was so simple and sweet. I just wanted to do a simple introduction, and I am telling you I had no clue of what was to come once I posted this first blog post. If you ever wanted to start a blog, my advice is to just jump in! You never know what will happen or where it will take you!
11/10/10
Check me out doing two blog posts on the first day! At this time I was heavily into makeup, and so the first ever NoMinusPlus tutorial was born! A simple look that I remember having so much fun creating! At this time I was finally starting to realize what I wanted to do with my life, and this first video was the first of many!
11/11/10
I came at you with yet ANOTHER makeup tutorial, and ladies my brows were just terrible! Can we have a moment of prayer for them? ( lol) I remember somebody in class asking me how I did my smokey eye, and I got so excited to run back to my dorm room and create this video. It was my first time actually speaking, and you could tell I was so nervous. Now, look at me! I won’t shut up to save my life!
Girl I just knew I was serving! lol

The Power of Color:Analogous

Hello, All My Darling Divas,
We have reached the third week of The Power of Color series! This colorful treat will be coming to an end next week, and I hope you have been enjoying it so far! This week’s color combo is Analogous and is just as vibrant as it’s fellow lookbooks Primary and Tertiary. So let’s get into today’s color lesson!

Analogous
colors that are next to each other on the color wheel
This lookbook is coming at you with a lot of layers! Whenever I can layer something, it’s always a good day for me!
Look 1
Color Combo ( Pink, Purple, and Red)

Shoes: Payless

I felt like an earthly goddess in this color combo! The mixture of all the colors just compliment each other so well, and I just LOVE how the background makes the outfit pop. I can’t wait for Summer to come back around so that I can rock this look!
Look 2

 Kimono: Melissa Mccarthy Via Dia&Co

Now our last lookbook had a similar color combo, but I had to switch it up to make it a bit different, This look was inspired by the look you see above, but I have to say I love how even those two looks still aren’t the same! I surprised myself a lot with how I created my looks!
Look 3

CurvyCon Vlog 17!

That fabulous day of the year has finally arrived.. THE CURVY CON!! I really wait all year long for CurvyCon to come, and I am glad that the weekend finally came. The vlog is a pretty long one, so grab a snack, and come along with me on my Curvy Con 2017 journey!

I keep thinking that CurvyCon cant get any better, and ever year it honestly GET SO MUCH BETTER! Let’s first start off with the fact that CurvyCon is now durring New York Fashion Week. How amazing is that?? This plus size fashion event happened durring the biggest moment in fashion. I felt very excited to be apart of this momumental event.
CurvyCon Day 1
September 8th,2017
CurvyCon started off with a workout sesson sponsered by Target, and led by fitness guru Massy. Arias. I unfortunatly didnt attend, but I heard it was a great time! I did a little workout on my own, and then questioned my milk status. ( lol) After that it was a Sip and Shop which I actually did attend, and it was amazing! So many beauitufl women, and what I liked was that it wasnt all the same vendors from last year. It was some that are always there like Fashion to Figure, and some new booth’s like Romans!
( I took this cute pic at the Romans booth! I had such a blast with them!)

My Look for Day 1!
( more info on my look will be featured in my Get Ready With Me video that is dropping at 5PM today!)
I did a little shopping and sipping, and after that it was time for THE FIRST EVER CURVY CON FASHION SHOW! What was even better about was the fact that it was a DIA & CO fashion show! I was defnitly a proud Dia&Co employee this whole weekend. The following pictures ARE NOT MINE. I grabbed them from this wonderful article written about this fashion show on Mic. Com. Click here to read it and check out more pics!

Both outfits you see are from the upcoming collection from Girl With Curves that is exclusivly being sold at Dia&Co starting on 9/18! If you want to get your hands on them join the waiting list by clicking here!

CurvyCon Day 2

Day 2 was the main event. All the panels, shopping, and bloggers that you can imagine! I was really excited because I got to work the event this year! The Dia&Co booth was my home that day, and I was so proud to be apart of the Dia&Co family, and of the CurvyCon team!
My home for the day!

My look for Day 2!

I had such a great time meeting new people and spreading the gospel of Dia&Co! As I mentioned before I am a stylist at Dia, and I was definitly proud to be apart of the Dia team at CurvyCon. Since Dia&co sponsered the event this years curvycon was much more special to me. I am glad I was able to help out at the booth!

Pencil Skirt Pusher

Hello All My Darling Divas,

Happy Friday! I don’t know about you, but I am so excited for the weekend! Before you go off to do all your fabulous activities, I wanted to stop up here to talk about my latest obsession: pencil skirts! They come in all different types, all different colors, and today I will proving to you why you need a pencil skirt in your wardrobe! So sit back, enjoy the video, and be prepared to be convinced why you need once in your life!

Did you enjoy the video? Are you running out to get a pencil skirt yet? If this essential piece is not in your closet yet, I hope I have convinced you why you need a couple in your life! Let’s recap what you saw in the video!

Types of Pencil Skirts
Peplum Pencil Skirt
This style is great for hourglass figures, or for ladies who loveee to show off and define their waist. I personally am one of those ladies, so I always love when I get the chance to wear this skirt! It looks great with a top tucked in to show off the peplum design!

Stretch

If you have a little more lovin’ going on in your tummy area, pick a pencil skirt that has some stretch! Fabrics such a cotton, ponte, and jersey are great fabrics that are comfortable and flattering on the tummy!

Midi
The midi length pencil skirt is great for if you don’t want to show as much leg and are a bit conservative,  or/and if you are a tall lady such as myself! It will make your legs look amazing, and you can adjust how short or long you want it! Just wear it just above your waist to make it longer, or wear it high waisted to make it shorter.

The Looks
Night Out
Top, Skirt, and belt from Fashion to Figure
I would pair this look with pumps or pencil flats for a night out with my girls!
Casual
Jacket: Rachel Roy ( Via Dia&Co)
Top- Amazon
Skirt- Fashion to Figure ( Via Dia&Co)
100% of my life is casual, so I would wear this to work( which is a casual setting), or on weekends with friends!

Top-Torrid
Skirt-LoveLianca
If your job is business casual, then this look is great for you! Pair it with flats or sensible heels!
So have I done it? Have I made you want a pencil skirt?? I hope I have! Try this very versatile piece of clothing this year if you have always been too afraid to try it! Let’s push those boundaries in 2017! Are you following me on social media? You should be because I am planning on being a lot more active on the blog’s IG page! Follow today by checking out my social media handles which are linked at the top of the page! Make sure to bring your booty right back here on Monday for another week of blog post!
