Tracee Ellis Ross for JcPenney| Haul, Try-On, & Styling!

Happy Friday Darling Divas!
As a lot of you may know, Tracee Ellis Ross recently created a collection for JCPenney this past Sunday, and IT WAS FABULOUS!! I patiently waited for Nov 12 to come, and when it did I made out like a bandit with the pieces that I purchased! I am so excited to share with you my haul from her collection because I have been gushing over it since I found out about it last month! So grab a treat, and let the Tracee Ellis Ross fun begin!

What did ya think? Did you purchase from this collection? If so what goodies did you buy? Comment below and share! I, of course, couldn’t just do the haul without a bit of styling, so I decided to show you how I would rock my pieces. It’s breakdown time!

I put heavenly in this video, but it is the heaven Jacket. Sorry about that!
Outfit Details
Mesh top and Bralette: Forever21
Jeans: Celebrity Pink via Dia&Co
Heels: Ashley Stewart
If you didn’t know, I am addicted to blazers. I love how they fit my figure, and I just love how crisp and clean they make any outfit. I am always dressing them casually, so for this look, I decided to throw a curveball and add this pair of fabulous pom-pom heels from Ashley Stewart. This bold and sexy look will make heads turn for sure wherever you go!

Outfit Details
Tank Dress: Forever21
Belt: Lane Bryant
Shoes: JustFab
I FREAKING LOVE THIS DRESS! It is just so damn comfortable. I decided to use some of my layering superpowers, and I styled it with this tank maxi dress that I pretty much rock all the time. I belted it to show off my figure, and styled with my combat boots just like Tracee did in the promo photo!

Flats: Ashley Stewart
This dress was totally unexpected for me. I didn’t think it would end up in my cart, but something told me that It needed to be mine and I’m glad I listened. Now if you have a larger bust and wide back like me I would get this in a 3x, or go try this in store to pick the best size for you. I was able to try all three sizes ( 1x, 2x,3x) and the 3x fit best since the material is unforgiving and tricky. Now I decided to keep the styling of this dress super simple, but don’t worry you will see this dress next week if you want to see a lil more pizzaz!
Outfit Details
Hat: Torrid
Sweater: Forever21
Pants: LaneBryant
I instantly fell in love with this jacket the minute I saw it, so I was so filled with joy when I got my hands on it. I just love jackets and dusters, and I just love this shade of red! I decided to give you Solange vibes by pairing this robe with wide leg pants and a fedora. I do plan on purchasing the pants with this set, but for now, my fabulous Lane Bryant pants are doing the trick!

Shoes: Ashley Stewart
This dress is just what every glamour girl needs. It’s perfect for the holidays, and the color-changing sequins is such a treat. You will definitely be seeing this dress soon!
So, ladies, that’s all for today’s video! I hope you loved seeing what I snagged from the Tracee Ellis Ross collection for JCPenney Haul! If you want to grab any of the collection most of it is still online so treat yo self! Be sure to follow me on social media by clicking the links above! Hello, All My Darling Divas,
We have reached the third week of The Power of Color series! This colorful treat will be coming to an end next week, and I hope you have been enjoying it so far! colors that are next to each other on the color wheel

Look 1
Color Combo ( Pink, Purple, and Red)

I felt like an earthly goddess in this color combo! The mixture of all the colors just compliment each other so well, and I just LOVE how the background makes the outfit pop. I can’t wait for Summer to come back around so that I can rock this look!
Look 2
Color Combo( Yellow, Orange, Green)

Now our last lookbook had a similar color combo, but I had to switch it up to make it a bit different, This look was inspired by the look you see above, but I have to say I love how even those two looks still aren’t the same! I surprised myself a lot with how I created my looks!

Now that you are all caught up, let’s get into the last behind the scenes video!
Did you enjoy? I hope so! This series was so fun to create and make, and I glad that I got to share it with you all. I truly love fashion and being able to showcase my creativity, and I feel as those this series proved that! So I am going to get into further styling tips for the looks in the water lookbook. Once again there is only one look since all of them are pretty wearable.

This outfit came together so beautifully! All the different tones of blue compliment each other so well! I was really afraid of how it would look, but it ended up looking so nice.
This outfit is great for your summer weekends. It screams beach afternoon to me.
How To Transform:
A beautiful maxi dress like this is so easy to transition for Fall. Pair the skirt with a blouse, jean jacket, tights, and tall boots to rock this maxi skirt in cooler weather!
I always wanted to try rocking jeans with a pair of heels. I see so many fabulous ladies doing it on social media. I’m not saying that I would rock them every day, but I did feel like an instant Diva in this look!
This look is a great option for a casual date night. It’s just the right amount of sexy and casual.

How to Transform:
Jeans are so simple to transform. Style them with the oversized top, ugg boots, and a fedora for a hipster weekend look!
I wore this dress for my 24th birthday this year, and it basically describes me in a dress. It is velvet, sequined, and comfortable. You can’t go wrong with a dress like this in my book!
A dress like this is perfect if you’re the birthday girl! It just screams celebration!
How to Transform:
This dress is a party dress, but it can be toned down just a bit of you want to be more comfortable. Add a pair of tights, tall black boots, and a moto jacket to create an edgy look with some sparkle!
So ladies I hope you have enjoyed the element series. Be sure to come right back here Friday for a brand spanking new blogpost. We are getting right back into our scheduled programing! Are you following NoMinusPlus on social media? You should be! They are all linked above. I love you lots like tater tots, and I will see you all on Friday!

Behind the Scenes: Air

Hello, All My Darling Divas!

Happy Friday! I hope you are all ready for the weekend! The first lookbook in the element series dropped this Monday, and I hope you all enjoyed it! If you have no idea what I am talking about, click here to get the scoop!  I, of course, had to come to you with some fun behind the scenes footage! So every Friday for this month you are going to see the making of the Element series you just saw. So since you just witnessed the lookbook for Air, here is the official makings of it! I explain a lot more in the video, so let’s hop in!

Did you enjoy?? I hope so! This series hits home for me because I  love fashion, and this series definitely shows that! I hope you are all excited to see more! So as promised, I am breaking down each look and giving you ideas on what scenario to rock the look, and how to transform it to make it more wearable for everyone if the outfits are a bit too bold.

This fabulous white hot jumpsuit is one of my fave pieces in my wardrobe! I rocked this baby at my college graduation this past May, and I am so thrilled that I get to wear it again!

An outfit like this can be worn for white party’s in the summer, or a celebration such as a birthday or graduation. White is timeless, and don’t be afraid to break the white after labor day rule. I promise serial mom won’t come after you!
How to transform:
Since white is a neutral color, you can build more colors on top, or match it with other natural colors to keep it low key. You can make this white jumpsuit more grown and sexy by replacing the chain belt with a skinny black belt, swapping the pointed heels for pumps, and layering a blazer on top to elevate this look into a classy look! The pink clutch adds a pop of color and is perfect for after work drinks! Just proceed with caution because you are rocking white!
This look was honestly my fave from this lookbook! It makes me feel super sexy, and my hips definitely don’t lie in this skirt! I love anything that shows off my curves and makes me look amazing!

This look is perfect for a club outing. It’s super sexy, comfortable, and will have everybody rushing to buy you a drink!
How to Transform:
With a bold print like this skirt you want to make it with the star of your look, so I paired it with solid colors. Style it with a beautiful blue peplum, tie up flats, and a clutch for a comfortable dressy look which is perfect for attending a lounge, or an event. If you want to rock it for your weekends, pair it with an oversized black sweater, tights, and some cute booties!
I am all about comfort, so any chance that  I get to break out my tie up flats I am a happy fashionista! Printed pants can sometimes be a bit scary, but I highly encourage everybody to have a pair in their closet. They are so fun!
A look like this is perfect for a night out with friends, or a date night! They are super comfortable, and great for the office fashionista if your job is buisness casaul.
How to Transform:
Printed pants can add some spice to your work wardrobe. Pair them with a blue blouse, flats, and grab your briefcase for a chic office look that will keep you comfortable, but trendy, all day. If you have a girls night out, or a hot date, pair it with a flowy purple top for some color, a pair of black strappy heels, and an amazing black envelope clutch!
I love printed pants because they are so comfortable, and versatile! You can dress them up, or dress them down and still look amazing! I don’t really have dress down looks, but I am learning to be more casual, and this is a step in the right direction.
This is a cute look that you can wear to class, or to hang out with friends! Its super laid back, and my opinion a very wearable look!
How to transform:
If you wanted to add some color you can swap ou the black sneakers for some cute pink ones, a casual oversized tee, and an amazing backpack for a trendy and street look. For my fashionistas out there joggers look great with a tee, denim jacket, and some sexy strappy heels!
So ladies I hope you have enjoyed the behind the scenes footage, and styling lessons for the Air lookbook.
