Happy Friday Darling Divas!

I am back again with yet another OOTD post, and I am excited because it features one of my favorite t-shirts that I have been DYING to wear since I purchased it! That’s So Raven was my favorite show growing up and provided me with so much representation and inspiration. I also have often been told that I look a lot like Raven Symone, so that’s also always a plus! When I first laid eyes on this shirt I knew I had to have it, and knew that it would be a hit when I finally was able to wear it! I decided to take it for a spin at my Godson’s first bday party last weekend I was and feeling all my Raven Symone feels!

Happy Humpday Darling Divas!

Let me first start this blog post off by saying happy pride to all my Darling Divas/o that are celebrating this month. You all so beautifully live out loud all year round, but June is your month to shine and I hope you have been enjoying it thus far! This week I am back with another fun and fabulous OOTD that I am so excited to share! This past Saturday I went to Sesame Place for my niece’s 2nd b-day, and I thought it was the perfect occasion to break out this fabulous skirt that I got from Ashley Stewart’s Curvy Girl Pride Collection! I have always loved the rainbow, so when I snagged my hands on this skirt I was one happy camper! As an Ally to the LGBTQIA+ community recognizing and celebrating Pride is always a big deal for me, so I’m glad to see that brands like Ashley Stewart have joined in on the celebration! Most of the collection is now sold out, but click here to check out what they may have left!

Color Commentary: Complementary Lookbook

Hello All My Darling Divas!

We have finally reached the last Color Commentary of The Power of Color series, and I am sad to see this series go! We have had such a fabulous color party, but as we know all good things must come to an end. Today we are doing the breakdown of the most recent and last lookbook which is Complementary. If you have missed any of The Power of Color series, no worries! Click below to catch up!

And now you can enjoy today’s video!

I hope you have enjoyed the last color commentary! This series was such a joy to create! Let’s recap!
 Look 1
This look was actually a dress and skirt layered to create one look, so I decided to give you tips on how to style both pieces! The burgundy top is actually a dress, and you can pair it with tall brown boots and a bucket back for a simple and beautiful look for work. If you want to still have a simple Christmas vibe with the Eloquii green skirt, you can pair it with a striped top, black pointed flats, and a red clutch to be ready for a holiday party in a flash!

 Look 2
This look right here just gives me so much life, and it’s all thanks to this fantastic lemon blazer!! This look is pretty wearable on its own, but if you want to switch it up, I would swap out the yellow blazer for a black one. This tones the look down a bit. Just add black boots, a purple back to color coordinate, and you’re ready for casual Friday!
Look 3
Woah! Curves are coming your way with this look! I love orange and blue so much, so it’s no secret that it’s my fave! I would just add a pair of tall caramel boots, a funky and fashionable cheetah beret, and gold accessories to create a high fashion look for the season!

So that concludes The Power of Color series! I hope you all had a wonderful time taking this color journey with me! Be sure to follow me on social media to see the rest of my colorful makeup looks! The links are all above, and I am working on each lookbook having its own board on Pinterest, so stay tuned! I am going to take a bit of a break to reset, so I love you lots like tater tots, and I will see you on Nov 8th with our regularly scheduled programming!

My Summer Fashion Go-To’s!

Hello, All my Darling Divas!
That fabulous day of the week has finally arrived! Blogpost day! The weather has kicked up, and the only thing that is on my mind is ” What am I going to Wear??” I had that issue earlier this week, and it caused me to think about the pieces that I gravitate to when the temperature is high! So grab a notebook and sit back and check out what I like to wear in the Summer!

I hope you enjoyed! What are your Summer Fashion Go-To’s? Comment them down below to let me know!

Video Recap!

Shift Dresses are a must-have for my Summer wardrobe! They are simple, super casual, and I can quickly throw them on! Most of them have pockets, so that’s always a plus!
Maxi Skirts for me are the best thing ever created! I feel like they allow me to create more outfits, and I actually prefer them instead of maxi dresses! I also love that they can be dressed up and down! https://i2.wp.com/demandware.edgesuite.net/aaqe_prd/on/demandware.static/-/Sites-eloquii-catalog/default/dwf14dfdd3/images/xlarge/1193815_002_1.jpg
Kimono’s were made for Summer! They are great for layering over outfits and even can be used as cover-ups for your bathing suit! That type of versatility is just what my closet needs for the season!

Printed Pants are my ultimate favorite look for Summertime! They are really inexpensive, and come in all types of colors, styles, and prints! Some can be palazzo, some can be harem ,but at the end of the day if they are printed and light-weight then they are a must for me!

( Will come back and post the outfit collages! Polyvore was acting up today!)

Dress Yout Coat

Hello All My Darling Divas,
Welcome to another week here on the blog! Today’s blog post is going to be all about adding some glam to your coat! The colder weather has us all bundling up, and with the tips in this video, you can do it in style! So let’s get into this video!

Did you enjoy? I hope so! When it’s cold outside the first thing everybody sees’s is your coat, so don’t be afraid to make a statement! Let’s break down those four tips!

Tip #1- Pick a bold colored coat

There are so many beautiful colored coats out there, so don’t be afraid to pick a funky color or print! It will give your winter gear some attitude, and will surely get you motivated to leave the house when its cold out! You’re going to want to show off your beautiful coat!
Tip #2 Add Detail with a scarf
Image result for scarves
I can’t event begin to tell you how many different colored scarves there are out there! Pair your coat with a fun colored one to brighten up a coat, or with a printed one to compliment a colored coat. I like to use the color wheel to help me make bold color choices. Check out this one below and try out a color combo that you have never tried before!

Tip #3 Add cool accessories
Image result for brooches
If you like some bling, add a brooch. If you’re  more of an edgy girl, add leather gloves. This will put your own personal twist on your look, and might even inspire people around you to do the same!
Tip #4 Belt It!
Image result for plus size wide belts
This tip is perfect for if your coat is a bit on the older side, or if it has no shape. Belts bring in your shape in outfits, so they will, of course, do the same with your coat! If you find that your coat is really giving you no shape, and at the moment you can’t replace it, add a belt! You can also add a belt to a perfectly fine coat just to give it some pizazz!
Ladies I hope you have enjoyed these four ways to dress your coat this season! We have a couple weeks left of colder weather, so try out these tips before Spring arrives! If you end up trying any of the looks, tag me in your photos on social media! All my links are above! Be sure to come right back here Friday at 5 for your second blog post of the week!!!! So until then my Divas, I love you lots like tater tots, and I hope you all have a great week!
