Tracee Ellis Ross for JcPenney| Haul, Try-On, & Styling!

Happy Friday Darling Divas!
As a lot of you may know, Tracee Ellis Ross recently created a collection for JCPenney this past Sunday, and IT WAS FABULOUS!! I patiently waited for Nov 12 to come, and when it did I made out like a bandit with the pieces that I purchased! I am so excited to share with you my haul from her collection because I have been gushing over it since I found out about it last month! So grab a treat, and let the Tracee Ellis Ross fun begin!

What did ya think? Did you purchase from this collection? If so what goodies did you buy? Comment below and share! I, of course, couldn’t just do the haul without a bit of styling, so I decided to show you how I would rock my pieces. It’s breakdown time!

I put heavenly in this video, but it is the heaven Jacket. Sorry about that!
Outfit Details
Mesh top and Bralette: Forever21
Jeans: Celebrity Pink via Dia&Co
Heels: Ashley Stewart
If you didn’t know, I am addicted to blazers. I love how they fit my figure, and I just love how crisp and clean they make any outfit. I am always dressing them casually, so for this look, I decided to throw a curveball and add this pair of fabulous pom-pom heels from Ashley Stewart. This bold and sexy look will make heads turn for sure wherever you go!

Tank Dress: Forever21
Belt: Lane Bryant
Shoes: JustFab
I FREAKING LOVE THIS DRESS! It is just so damn comfortable. I decided to use some of my layering superpowers, and I styled it with this tank maxi dress that I pretty much rock all the time. I belted it to show off my figure, and styled with my combat boots just like Tracee did in the promo photo!

Flats: Ashley Stewart
This dress was totally unexpected for me. I didn’t think it would end up in my cart, but something told me that It needed to be mine and I’m glad I listened. Now if you have a larger bust and wide back like me I would get this in a 3x, or go try this in store to pick the best size for you. I was able to try all three sizes ( 1x, 2x,3x) and the 3x fit best since the material is unforgiving and tricky. Now I decided to keep the styling of this dress super simple, but don’t worry you will see this dress next week if you want to see a lil more pizzaz!

Hat: Torrid
Sweater: Forever21
Pants: LaneBryant
I instantly fell in love with this jacket the minute I saw it, so I was so filled with joy when I got my hands on it. I just love jackets and dusters, and I just love this shade of red! I decided to give you Solange vibes by pairing this robe with wide leg pants and a fedora. I do plan on purchasing the pants with this set, but for now, my fabulous Lane Bryant pants are doing the trick!

This dress is just what every glamour girl needs. It’s perfect for the holidays, and the color-changing sequins is such a treat. You will definitely be seeing this dress soon!
So, ladies, that’s all for today’s video! I hope you loved seeing what I snagged from the Tracee Ellis Ross collection for JCPenney Haul! Color Commentary: Complementary Lookbook

Hello All My Darling Divas!

We have finally reached the last Color Commentary of The Power of Color series, and I am sad to see this series go! We have had such a fabulous color party, but as we know all good things must come to an end. Today we are doing the breakdown of the most recent and last lookbook which is Complementary. If you have missed any of The Power of Color series, no worries! Click below to catch up!

And now you can enjoy today’s video!

I hope you have enjoyed the last color commentary! This series was such a joy to create! Let’s recap!
 Look 1
This look was actually a dress and skirt layered to create one look, so I decided to give you tips on how to style both pieces! The burgundy top is actually a dress, and you can pair it with tall brown boots and a bucket back for a simple and beautiful look for work. If you want to still have a simple Christmas vibe with the Eloquii green skirt, you can pair it with a striped top, black pointed flats, and a red clutch to be ready for a holiday party in a flash!

 Look 2
This look right here just gives me so much life, and it’s all thanks to this fantastic lemon blazer!! This look is pretty wearable on its own, but if you want to switch it up, I would swap out the yellow blazer for a black one. This tones the look down a bit. Just add black boots, a purple back to color coordinate, and you’re ready for casual Friday!
Look 3
Woah! Curves are coming your way with this look! I love orange and blue so much, so it’s no secret that it’s my fave! I would just add a pair of tall caramel boots, a funky and fashionable cheetah beret, and gold accessories to create a high fashion look for the season!

So that concludes The Power of Color series! I hope you all had a wonderful time taking this color journey with me! Be sure to follow me on social media to see the rest of my colorful makeup looks! The links are all above, and I am working on each lookbook having its own board on Pinterest, so stay tuned! I am going to take a bit of a break to reset, so I love you lots like tater tots, and I will see you on Nov 8th with our regularly scheduled programming!

CurvyCon Vlog 17!

That fabulous day of the year has finally arrived.. THE CURVY CON!! I really wait all year long for CurvyCon to come, and I am glad that the weekend finally came. The vlog is a pretty long one, so grab a snack, and come along with me on my Curvy Con 2017 journey!

I keep thinking that CurvyCon cant get any better, and ever year it honestly GET SO MUCH BETTER! Let’s first start off with the fact that CurvyCon is now durring New York Fashion Week. How amazing is that?? This plus size fashion event happened durring the biggest moment in fashion. I felt very excited to be apart of this momumental event.
CurvyCon Day 1
September 8th,2017
CurvyCon started off with a workout sesson sponsered by Target, and led by fitness guru Massy. Arias. I unfortunatly didnt attend, but I heard it was a great time! I did a little workout on my own, and then questioned my milk status. ( lol) After that it was a Sip and Shop which I actually did attend, and it was amazing! So many beauitufl women, and what I liked was that it wasnt all the same vendors from last year. It was some that are always there like Fashion to Figure, and some new booth’s like Romans!
( I took this cute pic at the Romans booth! I had such a blast with them!)

My Look for Day 1!
( more info on my look will be featured in my Get Ready With Me video that is dropping at 5PM today!)
I did a little shopping and sipping, and after that it was time for THE FIRST EVER CURVY CON FASHION SHOW! What was even better about was the fact that it was a DIA & CO fashion show! I was defnitly a proud Dia&Co employee this whole weekend. The following pictures ARE NOT MINE. I grabbed them from this wonderful article written about this fashion show on Mic. Com. Click here to read it and check out more pics!

Both outfits you see are from the upcoming collection from Girl With Curves that is exclusivly being sold at Dia&Co starting on 9/18! If you want to get your hands on them join the waiting list by clicking here!

CurvyCon Day 2

Day 2 was the main event. All the panels, shopping, and bloggers that you can imagine! I was really excited because I got to work the event this year! The Dia&Co booth was my home that day, and I was so proud to be apart of the Dia&Co family, and of the CurvyCon team!
My home for the day!

My look for Day 2!

I had such a great time meeting new people and spreading the gospel of Dia&Co! As I mentioned before I am a stylist at Dia, and I was definitly proud to be apart of the Dia team at CurvyCon. Since Dia&co sponsered the event this years curvycon was much more special to me. I am glad I was able to help out at the booth!

Holiday Party Lookbook

Happy Monday Darling Divas!
Isn’t it crazy that it’s December already???! I can’t believe it! With December comes a lot of fabulous holidays events and parties. You have to have something to wear right? Have no fear, the NoMinusPlus Holiday Party Lookbook is here! I have put together 4 looks that are great for office parties, Festive galas, and so much more! Enough of the small talk, let’s get into the video!

Did you enjoy? Which look was your favorite? Comment down below? Remember that all of these looks are available as pins on Pinterest! Click here to save them to your board for inspiration!

Look 1
Jacket- Ashley Stewart
Top- H&M
Jeans- Fashion to Figure
Shoes- Ashley Stewart

This look is perfect for a holiday event that is a bit more laid back! I always feel like Faux Fur was made for festive events, so when I got this pair of pom- pom heels from Ashley Stewart I just knew I had to pair it with this jacket! I love how comfortable and sexy this look is!

Look 2
Dress- Fashion to Figure
Faux Fur Shawl- Cashi
Belt- Dia&Co
Shoes- Nine West

This outfit is perfect if your festive event is more formal! I was watching Good Morning America the other day, and I saw how they belted a faux fur shawl to the outfit. I got instantly inspired and decided to do the same! The belt brings in my curves and ensures that I won’t lose my shawl as I make my way around the room!

Look 3
Jacket- Eloquii
Shirt- N/A
Skirt- Fashion to Figure
Shoes- Torrid

What’re the holidays without a tulle skirt? It just so happens that the only one I have is animal printed (of course), but a traditional one will do as well! I decided to add some edge with this lace moto jacket. This outfit was inspired by one that Chante from Everything Curvy and Chic created a couple of years ago. I loved it so much, and I think a look like this is great for any Edgy girl looking to Jingle Bell Rock!

Look 4
Top( Actually a Dress)- Target
Skirt- Forever21
Belt- Dia&Co
Shoes- Torrid

This classic look is perfect for an office party! It’s very simple, yet fabulous! The pointed flats give it an Audry Hepburn flair, and the green makes it great for the holidays! This look is similar to one that I am wearing to my upcoming Holiday Party!
Ladies, I hope you have enjoyed today’s video! I had a lot of fun as always creating these looks for you all! Are you following me on social media? You should be! Stay connected with the blog by following me on social media! They are all linked above! Be sure to come back here on Friday for a brand spanking new blogpost! Fashion Trends I loved in High School

Hello, All My Darling Divas!

Welcome to another week here on the blog! I hope that you had an amazing Thanksgiving, and spent lots of time eating and loving on your family and friends! I am back today with your Monday blog post! Today we are going back in time. I am going to sharing with you some of my favorite trends from High School. Although it wasn’t that long ago that I graduated from High School( S/O to the Class of 2010), but my style has definitely evolved since then! So let’s get into this flashback video!

Did you enjoy?? I hope so! What year did you graduate High School, and what were your fave fashions to wear? Comment them down below!

Trend Then Printed Leggings
So I wasn’t able to find a picture of me rocking my leggings from back in the day, but I was able to find two of my fave pairs of leggings from back in the day! I can’t tell you guys how much I loved wearing these! I actually was pretty sad the day I had to throw them out.
Update: I was able to find a picture of me wearing the leggings!
Trend Now Printed Pants
I have since then traded my printed leggings for printed pants! They are a fun way to spice up any look, and I honestly feel like a true Diva whenever I wear them! You have seen me rock printed pants here on the blog, and you will continue to see them here!
Trend Then Accessories Overload
I loveedd accessories so much back in high school I was always wearing some type of oversized glasses, a billion bracelets, or big earrings. My outfit wouldn’t be complete without at least three accessories, and my 16yr old self would be so upset with me because I barely wear any at all!

 Trend Now Simple Jewelry
Every once in awhile I break out my jewelry. This may seem like a lot, but this is not as much as I used to wear! I wouldn’t wear all of this on the same day, but I would probably pick one out of these two styles to add some bling to my look!
Trend Then Major Layering
First of all, let’s talk about how much of a throwback this picture is first of all! Taking photos like this were so popular back in the day! I am located on the top right and as you can see my layering game is strong! My best friend is to the left of me, and her outfit is also another look that I used to rock! Layering short sleeved shirts, over long sleeved ones was everything!
Trend Now Simple Layering
All of these outfits are the product of layering! Simple layering can come together to create the best outfits. I did a whole blog post on layering last year. You can click here to check it out if you want! I pretty much use layering now to create illusions of one whole outfit. Before you could clearly see I was layering, but now the way I layer you can’t tell!

Trend Then: Vest Go with Everything
It was very common that I would be wearing a vest with my outfit. I swore up and down that they went with everything! They kinda do, b
ut then again they don’t

Trend Now- A Vest Every Once In a While
I don’t really wear a lot of vests now, but if I do I usually go for a longer one. It fits my shape well, and they add drama to my look. I don’t add then to all my looks like back in the day, but everyone once in a while, for me, is ok!

So, ladies, that’s all for today’s blog post! I hope you have enjoyed going down this trip to memory lane with me! Are you following me on social media yet? You should be! Stay connected with me and the blog by clicking the links above! Be sure to check back here Friday at 5 for your next blogpost! I love you lots like tater tots, and I will see you on Friday!
