Happy Friday Darling Divas!

I am back again with yet another OOTD post, and I am excited because it features one of my favorite t-shirts that I have been DYING to wear since I purchased it! That’s So Raven was my favorite show growing up and provided me with so much representation and inspiration. I also have often been told that I look a lot like Raven Symone, so that’s also always a plus! When I first laid eyes on this shirt I knew I had to have it, and knew that it would be a hit when I finally was able to wear it! I decided to take it for a spin at my Godson’s first bday party last weekend I was and feeling all my Raven Symone feels!

Tee: Hot Topic ( Click here to find the shirt in more sizes)

Color Commentary: Complementary Lookbook

Hello All My Darling Divas!

We have finally reached the last Color Commentary of The Power of Color series, and I am sad to see this series go! We have had such a fabulous color party, but as we know all good things must come to an end. Today we are doing the breakdown of the most recent and last lookbook which is Complementary. If you have missed any of The Power of Color series, no worries! Click below to catch up!

And now you can enjoy today’s video!

I hope you have enjoyed the last color commentary! This series was such a joy to create! Let’s recap!
 Look 1
This look was actually a dress and skirt layered to create one look, so I decided to give you tips on how to style both pieces! The burgundy top is actually a dress, and you can pair it with tall brown boots and a bucket back for a simple and beautiful look for work. If you want to still have a simple Christmas vibe with the Eloquii green skirt, you can pair it with a striped top, black pointed flats, and a red clutch to be ready for a holiday party in a flash!

 Look 2
This look right here just gives me so much life, and it’s all thanks to this fantastic lemon blazer!! This look is pretty wearable on its own, but if you want to switch it up, I would swap out the yellow blazer for a black one. This tones the look down a bit. Just add black boots, a purple back to color coordinate, and you’re ready for casual Friday!
Look 3
Woah! Curves are coming your way with this look! I love orange and blue so much, so it’s no secret that it’s my fave! I would just add a pair of tall caramel boots, a funky and fashionable cheetah beret, and gold accessories to create a high fashion look for the season!

So that concludes The Power of Color series! I hope you all had a wonderful time taking this color journey with me! Be sure to follow me on social media to see the rest of my colorful makeup looks! The links are all above, and I am working on each lookbook having its own board on Pinterest, so stay tuned! I am going to take a bit of a break to reset, so I love you lots like tater tots, and I will see you on Nov 8th with our regularly scheduled programming!

Black and White with a Pop!

Hello, Darling Divas!

Finally right?? I have been talking about posting a lookbook for about a week, and I am FINALLY up here to show it to you! This lookbook is perfect for the girl who’s closet is filled with black and white. The girl who loves monochromatic looks, and is looking just to kick it up a notch. And the best way to do that is to add a pop of color somewhere! Today I am showing you this Black and White With a Pop lookbook that showcases adding color in the most subtle way. Enough of the chit-chat, let’s get started!

Did you enjoy this lookbook? I hope so! I usually create lookbooks filled with prints and vibrant colors, so it was nice to just switch things up a bit! Which look was your fave? Comment it down below!

Black and White is a neutral color palette that everybody should have in their wardrobe. They are both easy colors to match with, and pretty much every color goes with it! Check out the four different ways that I added a pop of color to each look!

Look 1
A pop of color with shoes
This casual look is perfect for weekends in Summer! Adding the touch of red in the shoes is what really brings this look together!
Look 2
A Pop of Color with a Jacket
I created this look with the business casual woman in mind! If your workplace is more traditional the best way to add color is with a jacket. This fabulous mustard blazer that I got in one of my Dia boxes is perfect for any office!
Look 3
A pop of color with accessories
This look is my favorite in today’s blogpost! I love how the color of the purse compliments my cheetah print shoes! Cheetah is another neutral color in my world, so it was the perfect addition to this look. The best way to add some pizazz to any look is with accessories, so use some to add color to your next outfit!
Look 4
A Pop of Color with Lipstick
I live for bright and vivid lipsticks and often use it to add some color to my outfits. If it can add come color to my makeup look, it can definitely add color to a whole outfit!
So, ladies, that’s it for today’s blog post! I hope you have enjoyed all the black and white looks! You should definitely follow me on social media! I am always posting updates over there, and sometimes I even drop sneak peeks on the next blog post! If you not following NoMinusplus on social media, then check out the links above to start following today! I love you lots like tater tots, and I will see you tomorrow!

OOTD Re-Do!

TGIF Darling Divas!
I am so excited about today’s video! I was deep in the NoMinusPlus Archives and noticed all these amazing fashion posts from a couple of years ago! I had this fabulous idea to re-create 4 looks that are my favorite! So enough of the talk lets get into the video!!

How fun was that blast from the past! I didn’t notice until after the video that all the looks were from 2012, so I must have been pretty stylish that year! (lol) It was super fun for me to recreate each look and see how my style has evolved and stayed the same!
Look 1 Bleach and Distressed
Click here to check out the original blog post
Even though I almost killed myself making these jeans, I just love how creative and innovative I used to be! I wanted a pair of distressed and bleached jeans, but at the time couldn’t afford them, so I transformed an old pair into the ones I wanted! That just goes to show you that I will risk it all for fashion! Even though I have a couple more coins in the bank now, I still have been known to bust out a D.I.Y. project every now and again!
Look 2 Cheetahlicous!
Click here to check out the original blog post
As you can see this dress still hits me in the same place! It’s so interesting how back in the day I could care less, but now I’m like umm I need something under this! The ripped leggings under it are so me at this moment, but I love how the aesthetic of this look is still the same!
Look 1 Aztec Inspired
Click here to check out original blog post
Although I no longer have this fabulous skirt, I still think this look is pretty close! I must have really loved being bold with my hemlines cause honey that’s a short skirt! If I do skirts now, I prefer them right above the knee like you see in the picture on the right. Funny how times change!
Look 4 Lazy Turban
Click here to check out the original blog post!
This look is personal one of my all time favorite looks! I love this look because is so laid-back but still glam! I would still totally wear this look exactly the same today! Just still wish I had those awesome peter pan boots!
I hope you ladies have enjoyed this trip down memory lane! If you have any throwback OOTD’s share them down below! Be sure to also include if you would wear them the exact same, or switch it up differently! Although this wraps up our blog post for the week remember that 2 new ones are coming next week, and and you can follow me on all my social media if you want to keep up with me! The links are at the top of the page! I love you lots like tater tots, I hope you have a safe and amazing Memorial Day weekend, and I will see you all next Wednesday!

Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas

Hello, All My Darling Divas!
Welcome to another week here on the blog! With turkey day coming up I decided to put together this quick little video giving you some Thanksgiving outfit ideas. I hope they will give you some inspiration on what to wear on Gobble Day! Let’s get into the video!

Did you enjoy the video? I hope so! Which look do you see yourself wearing for Thanksgiving? Comment down below! Let’s get into the breakdown for each look!

Pass the Gravy
 Top: Junarose
Denim Shirt: Fashion to Figure
Leggings- Lysse ( Via Dia&Co)
Sorry that this picture is so terrible! I actually forgot to take a picture of this look, so I had to grab a snapshot from the video. (Terrible I know) But this look is perfect for your casual dinner table. It’s comfortable, easy to move in! If leggings aren’t, you can swap them out for jeans!
Formal With The Fam
Top: Burlington Coat Factory
Cardigan: Forever21
Pants: Old Navy
This look is great formal look for dinner. It’s a great balance between formal and casual. The pop of print makes you fashion forward but still comfortable. If printed pants aren’t your thing, you can always swap them out for a solid colored pant.
Hostess With The Mostess
Dress: Target
A form fitting bodycon dress is a great choice for meeing your boo’s family! If you pick one that is made of a jersey material, then it will be easy to move in. If you pick a dress that is a bit too short, you can always add leggings and boots with it to make it more appropriate. If body con dresses aren’t your thing, you can go with another style of dress that is similar, or you can wear an outfit like the Formal with the Fam look!
Hostess with the Mostess
Top: Fashion to Figure (Via Dia.Co)
 Skirt: Eloquii ( Via Dia.Co)
This look just screams welcome to my home! After you get done prepping your home to welcome to your Thanksgiving guest, you have to also get ready! Grab a skirt and a blouse to get ready in a flash! This bright, vibrant outfit welcomes people into your home, and you are going to look fabulous! If skirts aren’t your thing, then swap it out for pants!
So ladies I hope that this video has inspired you and helped you out with your Thanksgiving outfits! The outfits you see here won’t be on Pinterest, but I will be putting together four different outfit ideas based off the looks you see here. If you’re interested in that, then click here to check it out! Happy Thanksgiving Darling Divas! I am truly thankful for you all, and I hope you have a wonderful holiday! I love you lots like tater tots, and I will see you all on Friday with a new blogpost!
