Curve Maintenance Episode 2: The Follow Up

Welcome to another episode of Curve Maintenance; the health and fitness series here on NoMinusPlus. This is a follow up video for my juice vlog that I posted earlier this week. In the vlog I showed you what juice I drank, when I got them,what times I drank it, and even my facial expressions on the taste of each juice. ( All of them were soooo good!) Since the vlog was about 10mins long, I decided to come back up here with a follow up vlog on my juicing experience. I figured I could talk more about how I feel after a couple of days have passed. Did you enjoy the video? I tried to be as detailed as possible! Overall I really loved doing the juice cleanse! Next time I do the cleanse( YES I WILL DO IT AGAIN!) I’m going to juice on my own. I am going to experiment with making juices and I figured that would also be alot more fun! I would definitely order from JusbyJulie again though. It was the perfect start to my healthy journey, and I wouldn’t mind just having a bunch of these drinks hanging around in my fridge!

Post-Cleanse Eating
As stated in the video, I am going to show you what I have been eating since my juice fast ended. I would have to say eating was the hardest part! I know, sounds crazy right? I was actually craving so much healthy stuff, but didn’t have the right items in my fridge. I ended up working with what I had on hand, and ended up creating some really awesome creative meals! I plan to start some healthy cooking videos pretty soon ,so let me know if any of the meals below you would like me to show you how to make!

Curve Maintenance Episode 1: Juice Vlog

Hello All My Darling Divas!!!
I’m reallllyyy excited because today is the first day of the Curve Maintenance series! As stated in my update blogpost last week, I’m going to start incorporating health and fitness in the blog! Ok so I have been interested in juicing for a longgggggggg time now, but was always afraid to do it. So I decided that I would stop being a punk and do my first juice cleanse! I decided to only do it for 1 Day because I wanted to first see if I could actually do it. There are a couple of amazing benefits to juicing such as

  • balanced pH and blood sugar levels,
  • a cleansed and regulated colon,
  • weight loss (fat, not water),
  • diminished toxin load,
  • strengthened immune system,
  • increased mental clarity,
  • heavy metals cleansing,
  • increased liver function capacity,
  • loss of cravings for sugar and other stimulants,
  • cellular cleansing and rebuilding,
  • radiant, glowing complexion,
  • diminished pains and allergies (some disappear completely),
  • blood, tissue and organ cleansing,
  • restored liver function capacity,
  • increased energy levels,
  • emotional cleansing and release,

Now I’m sure that one day of juicing is not going to make me loose 20 pounds, but the reason that I’m doing this is beyond weight loss. I decided to do a juice fast because I wanted to introduce my body to something new, wanted to challenge myself, and I wanted to flush out all the bad foods that I have been consuming since THANKSGIVING! Now juicing for more than a day would produce maximum results, but I feel that one day of juicing will start the cleansing process, and get me on track to eating better.

If you would like to do a juice cleanse then I suggest doing all your research and talking to your doctor. You want to make sure that you are healthy enough to begin this process even if it’s for a day! I don’t want anybody passing out from juicing them blaming me!(lol)

I decided that I would vlog my juicing experience so that both you and I can see the process. It’s always good to document things that happen so that you can go back to them later on as a reference. So lets see how good I did on my juice fast.

Now I’m going to do a follow up video later this week telling you how I felt during the fast, and how I feel after if your interested. I feel that this blog has given you enough to watch and read, so I’m going to break it up.

Grab some fresh veggies and fruit, grab yourself a juicer from Target, Walmart, or order online, and get to creating! The internet has a bunch of different juicing recipes, so you don’t have to get them delivered to your door. I just ordered it because I cant turn down a good groupon deal!( lol)
