This blog post is a day late because I had the pleasure and honor of finally seeing Black Panther this past Monday and Tuesday, and it was AMAZING.  It’s greatness completely distracted me,  so here we are on Thursday! I decided that it was only right for me to a Get Ready With Me to go see the movie. I, of course, had to dress up in my best Wakandan fashion, so you can also see a peek of my look and my family’s look down below. So let’s get ready!

Get Ready With Me: Thanksgiving Edition!

It’s the day before we stuff our faces for Thanksgiving, and I am so thrilled and excited to spend the holiday with my family! Today I wanted to keep the spirit of Thanksgiving alive by doing a Get Ready With Me Thanksgiving Edition! On this day I was headed out to a Thanksgiving potluck at my job, so I figured it was the perfect type of theme for this week! Get Ready With Me! (GRWM)

Hello All My Darling Divas!

Welcome back to another day here on the blog. Yesterday I talked all about what’s new in my makeup box. You can check that post out by clicking here! In today’s video I am putting some of those products to work, and showing you how I use them in this Get Ready With Me Video! I want to apologize in advance for the lighting in this video! I was using mostly natural lighting ( sunlight) and that can always be unpredictable. The sun shines really bright for one second, and then goes away the next. Get Ready With Me: Birthday Edition!

Hello Darling Divas!

I know that I usually don’t come up here on a Saturday, but as stated in yesterdays blogpost its my birthday weekend! Yesterday was my actual birthday and I came up here and did a pretty fun birthday tag. You can click here if you want to check it out. In that video I said I would be up here to do a Get Ready With Me (GRWM) birthday edition video, and here it is! In this video you get to see my birthday beat! This isn’t a full out tutorial but if you would like me to do one for this look let me know! I have no problem showing it step by step! So enough chit chat, lets get into the beat!

Chit Chat Get Ready With With Me

Happy Friday Darling Divas!
You are in for a real treat this Friday! I am going to be coming to you today with something a little bit new. I am going to be giving you a chit chat get ready with me video. I literally obsess over other you-tuber’s chit chat get ready with me videos, so I decided to give it a try! Feel free to let me know if you enjoy this video and I will definitely make more! The purpose of this chit chat in this video is for me to just talk to you guys and for you to hopefully get to know me a bit more. Also in this video I am able to jam pack a whole bunch of blog post that I want to put up but I cant right now in one video! My Hair Details
These are my recent crochet braids installment and I am loving it! I used 4 packs of the Harlem 125 Brand of Kanekalon Braiding hair in the color 613. To achieve the curls in this hair I used small perm rods and followed this tutorial here. I cut each of those packs of 4 in half. I would recommend getting more hair then you need though just in case. I love this particular set of crochet braids because it allows me to style them in many different ways and I am loving that! It is so similar to my actual hair. Every night I just put a silk bonnet on my hair and go to sleep. The curls still keep in tact. I slick my edges down with the Design Essentials Natural Honey & Shea Edge Tamer that I received in my curl box a couple of months ago.
