Green With Envy

Hello, All My Darling Divas!

Welcome back to another day here on the blog! As promised, I am back today to talk all about my green hair! Now this was supposed to be video, but I am still suffering some technical difficulties so hopefully this is ok! I decided to take a break from crochet braids and try something new for my graduation. This hairstyle has a bit of a story, so let me just start from there.

I was first supposed to have this hairstyle for my birthday this past January. I ordered it to match my dress and everything! But unfortunately, there was a terrible snowstorm so my hair delivery got delayed and ended up coming after my birthday.

You can click here to check out my GRWM Bday post for more details. This green hair would have looked bomb with this outfit! But the purple hair was just fine.

So I thought hmm when will I be able to use this hair? I bought it so I’m not going to waste it. Then it hit me. GRADUATION! How cool and different would it be if I rocked this hair to graduation? And I did and it looks fabulous!

Now since I didn’t get crochet braids I had to look and find somebody to install this hair. I headed over to StyleSeat and started to find some research to find some stylist in my area. I came across a stylist named Jaz who is located in Maplewood. I originally went to her in January to get a consultation and she told me exactly what hair to get, and what style I would be getting which would be a quick weave. She was really great and helped make this process so much easier.

You can click here to locate Jaz on StyleSeat. There you will be able to find a description of the services she offers, you can schedule an appointment, and read recommendations from her other clients. Styleseat is the perfect way to find beauty services in your area! Check it out. StyleSeat is available online and an app.

I have 2 packs of  Milkyway Remy Human Hair Weave Pure Yaky Ombre Two Tone installed for this quick weave. I have it in the color OTEMERALD, and I purchased lengths 10 and 12 inches. You can click here to purchase it where I did. Its very affordable and the hair is holding up great so far.

I am loving this hairstyle so far! It’s so me, and I’m glad that I switched it up and tried something new. I will definitely be going back to crochet braids, but I’m going to experiment with this hair for awhile. I do plan on doing a styling and maintenance video for this hair, so stay tuned for that.
