I am so excited about today’s video! I was deep in the NoMinusPlus Archives and noticed all these amazing fashion posts from a couple of years ago! I had this fabulous idea to re-create 4 looks that are my favorite! So enough of the talk lets get into the video!!

How fun was that blast from the past! I didn’t notice until after the video that all the looks were from 2012, so I must have been pretty stylish that year! (lol) It was super fun for me to recreate each look and see how my style has evolved and stayed the same!

Even though I almost killed myself making these jeans, I just love how creative and innovative I used to be! I wanted a pair of distressed and bleached jeans, but at the time couldn’t afford them, so I transformed an old pair into the ones I wanted! That just goes to show you that I will risk it all for fashion! Even though I have a couple more coins in the bank now, I still have been known to bust out a D.I.Y. project every now and again!

As you can see this dress still hits me in the same place! It’s so interesting how back in the day I could care less, but now I’m like umm I need something under this! The ripped leggings under it are so me at this moment, but I love how the aesthetic of this look is still the same!

Although I no longer have this fabulous skirt, I still think this look is pretty close! I must have really loved being bold with my hemlines cause honey that’s a short skirt! If I do skirts now, I prefer them right above the knee like you see in the picture on the right. Funny how times change!

This look is personal one of my all time favorite looks! I love this look because is so laid-back but still glam! I would still totally wear this look exactly the same today! Just still wish I had those awesome peter pan boots!

Happy First Friday!!!

I hope your first week of 2017 was amazing! For today’s blog post, I am going to show you my recent outerwear purchases. I have been obsessed with jackets lately, so I decided to show you guys what jackets I have gotten my hands on! So enough of the intro, let’s get into the video!

Fringe Jacket
I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED A JACKET LIKE THIS!!! I can’t even begin to tell you guys how happy that I finally own a fringe jacket! It’s honestly the best purchase I have made in 2016! Behind the Scenes: Air

Hello, All My Darling Divas!

Happy Friday! I hope you are all ready for the weekend! The first lookbook in the element series dropped this Monday, and I hope you all enjoyed it! If you have no idea what I am talking about, click here to get the scoop!  I, of course, had to come to you with some fun behind the scenes footage! So every Friday for this month you are going to see the making of the Element series you just saw. So since you just witnessed the lookbook for Air, here is the official makings of it! I explain a lot more in the video, so let’s hop in!

Did you enjoy?? I hope so! This series hits home for me because I  love fashion, and this series definitely shows that! I hope you are all excited to see more! So as promised, I am breaking down each look and giving you ideas on what scenario to rock the look, and how to transform it to make it more wearable for everyone if the outfits are a bit too bold.

This fabulous white hot jumpsuit is one of my fave pieces in my wardrobe! I rocked this baby at my college graduation this past May, and I am so thrilled that I get to wear it again!

Scenario: 
An outfit like this can be worn for white party’s in the summer, or a celebration such as a birthday or graduation. White is timeless, and don’t be afraid to break the white after labor day rule. I promise serial mom won’t come after you! 
How to transform:
Since white is a neutral color, you can build more colors on top, or match it with other natural colors to keep it low key. You can make this white jumpsuit more grown and sexy by replacing the chain belt with a skinny black belt, swapping the pointed heels for pumps, and layering a blazer on top to elevate this look into a classy look! The pink clutch adds a pop of color and is perfect for after work drinks! Just proceed with caution because you are rocking white!
This look was honestly my fave from this lookbook! It makes me feel super sexy, and my hips definitely don’t lie in this skirt! I love anything that shows off my curves and makes me look amazing! 

Scenario:
This look is perfect for a club outing. It’s super sexy, comfortable, and will have everybody rushing to buy you a drink! 
How to Transform:
With a bold print like this skirt you want to make it with the star of your look, so I paired it with solid colors. Style it with a beautiful blue peplum, tie up flats, and a clutch for a comfortable dressy look which is perfect for attending a lounge, or an event. If you want to rock it for your weekends, pair it with an oversized black sweater, tights, and some cute booties! 
I am all about comfort, so any chance that  I get to break out my tie up flats I am a happy fashionista! Printed pants can sometimes be a bit scary, but I highly encourage everybody to have a pair in their closet. They are so fun! 
Senario:
A look like this is perfect for a night out with friends, or a date night! They are super comfortable, and great for the office fashionista if your job is buisness casaul. 
How to Transform:
Printed pants can add some spice to your work wardrobe. Pair them with a blue blouse, flats, and grab your briefcase for a chic office look that will keep you comfortable, but trendy, all day. If you have a girls night out, or a hot date, pair it with a flowy purple top for some color, a pair of black strappy heels, and an amazing black envelope clutch!
I love printed pants because they are so comfortable, and versatile! You can dress them up, or dress them down and still look amazing! I don’t really have dress down looks, but I am learning to be more casual, and this is a step in the right direction. 
Senario:
This is a cute look that you can wear to class, or to hang out with friends! Its super laid back, and my opinion a very wearable look! 
How to transform:
If you wanted to add some color you can swap ou the black sneakers for some cute pink ones, a casual oversized tee, and an amazing backpack for a trendy and street look. For my fashionistas out there joggers look great with a tee, denim jacket, and some sexy strappy heels!

Curve Maintenance Episode #9- Top 5 Workout Must-Haves

Welcome back to another day here on the blog. Today is another Curve Maintenance video, and it’s all about my working out essentials. I have finally found a consistent workout routine, and if I don’t have these 5 items then my workout will be no good! I did give you a bit of an update on my lifestyle journey. Items mentioned in video
1. Sports Arm Band 
 These bands you can pretty much get any and everywhere, and they fit into anybody’s budget. I would suggest going to your local Five Below, Target, or Walmart to pick up one. I highly recommend getting one because it keeps your phone protected,  and keeps it out of the way while you workout!
2. A good playlist
An awesome playlist can really make any workout amazing! I use Spotify to create different playlists that help keep me pumped and motivated. You can also use your phone’s music to create playlist, Pandora, or IHeartRadio to add some tunes while you sweat

3. A bandana 
The one thing I def don’t want to worry about is ruining my hair during a workout. A simple bandana can keep your hair up and out your way, and protect your hair from any harsh weather conditions. They also come in a variety of colors and I like to match mind with my workout outfits. 
4. Waist Trimmer Belt & Albolene 
 When you see the word Waist trimmer belt I know you automatically think of all the IG models. While they have amazing pictures and bodies, there is definitely a more inexpensive and safe way to use a waist trimmer. This dynamic duo I have been using for about 2 years now, and it def makes a big difference when I’m working out. You can purchase Albolene in your local drugstore in the skincare aisle, and click here to find a link to the waist trimmer belt I usually purchase from Walmart. 
 
 5. Proper Footwear
 This must-have may seem like a ‘duh’ moment, but it’s really important to wear proper sneakers when working out. This ensures that you have a safe workout, and the last thing you want to do is injure yourself! I only rock Nike’s. ( a personal preference) And I actually got mine discounted from Nordstrom Rack. You can find brand name inexpensive shoes from discounted stores like that one and DSW, so check there if you want to save some coin. You can also check out Payless. They have some affordable and cute workout sneakers.

Curve Maintenance Episode #8- Curve Update

Welcome back to another week here on the blog! This week’s videos are are going to be Curve Maintenance related blog post. For all my new darling divas who have just joined the NoMinus family, or for my OG darling divas that need a refresher, Curve Maintenance is the health  and fitness portion of this blog. Curve Maintenance Episode #6- The Food Experiment

Hello All My Darling Divas!

Welcome back to another day here on the blog! This week will be your monthly dose of Curve Maintenance videos. If you don’t know what curve maintenance is it is the health and fitness series here on the blog. If you want to check out any of the other episodes then click here for the playlist! For the whole month of March I am going to be doing two different experiments. I will explain the food experiment today, and then tomorrow I will come to you with my other one. Now this was supposed to be video, but time got the best of me, so I’m going to just carry on with out the video. So lets get into the food experiment!

The purpose of me doing this food experiment is to introduce my body to different foods, and challenge myself to try new things. My regular day to day meal prep was getting boring, so I decided to switch it up and make things a bit interesting for the month of March. Every week I created a different food challenge for each week of March, and I’m going to go through each one and explain what I hope to learn from each week. I have recorded my weight and measurements  to see how much I will loose from doing all this. I’m not looking to loose a lot of weight, and the number really doesn’t matter to me, but I just want to have some data written down so that I can compare.You can feel free to join me if you would like! Or create a challenge of your own. I am starting this tomorrow ( 3/1/16) and ending it on April 3rd! After it’s over I will of course update you and let you know how the challenge went for me!

Week 1: No Eating Out 

I have a habit of breaking my healthy eating once the weekend hits. I basically reward myself for eating healthy for 5 days straight by eating whatever I want all weekend. This is NOT good. I want to break this habit, so with this first week of not eating out I am hoping to teach myself to stick to my diet!! There is going to be temptation all around me, but I have to be able to say no!  Cheat meals are ok, but cheat weekends have got to stop! I need to stick to my meals, and stick to the plan. Rewards can come later. 
Week 2: No Carbs 
I have got to stop consuming so many carbs! Although I mostly eat brown rice, whole wheat bread, and a whole bunch of alternatives, I still eat way to much. With this week I am hoping to teach myself to not to rely on rice, bread, and other starches. I pretty much have a starch with every meal, so I am looking to add some variety to my diet. 
Week 3: Vegetarian 
I have always been interested in becoming vegetarian, but never actually went through with it. A couple months ago I actually challenged myself to be vegetarian for a week, but I actually ended up eating so badly and ending up gaining weight! I learned how easy it can be to eat unhealthy while being a vegetarian. I assumed that its automatically healthier, but you have to plan just like any other diet. So this time around I am going to incorporate more veggies, and not rely on so much carbs. I am actually very excited for week 3. 
Week 4: Juicing
Now this is the week that I am most excited for! Juicing has always been a favorite of mine, but I have never done it for a week. I have only done it for one day, and I felt really amazing after it. You can see my juicing experience in episode 1 and 2 of the curve maintenance series. I decided to go all out and juice for 7 days. I am so excited, but at the same time nervous! But I know I can do it! With this week I am hoping to teach myself that I can get full on liquid just as much as solid foods. I am also teach myself about discipline. Not eating food for a week requires discipline, and I know I’m for the challenge.
Week 5: Try New Foods 
The fifth and final week for this food challenge will be about trying new foods. I get so stuck in the routine of creating meals with the same foods, so I decided to break out and incorporate some new foods that I have never ate before. There are so many amazing foods out there that I have always wanted to experiment with, so I figured why not finally get around to trying them out. 
That is my mapped out food experiment for the month of March! I am so excited to be switching things up with my journey! Whenever things start to become
boring switch it up! I found myself getting bored with my same ol’ food, so I decided to challenge myself and make it a bit fun. Curve Maintenance Episode #5- Weight Loss Journey & Current Health Plan

Hello All My Darling Divas!

Welcome back to another ther day on the blog! Yesterday we talked about the reboot of The Curve Maintenance series. It was the health and fitness series that I started last year for the blog, but it unfortunately didn’t go the way I planned. This year I am back with a better mindset and plan for Curve Maintenance, and I am so excited for you all to see what I have in store! If you want to check out yesterday’s blogpsost which pretty much explains the story behind why it fell off then click here! In that video I mentioned that I would come back and talk about my journey so far, and what I have been doing in regards to my diet since we left off in episode 3. That is what we will be doing in today’s blogpost! Today you will learn all about my weight loss journey from the very beginning, and what I have been doing in the last couple of months to maintain my curves! I was nervous making this video because I talk about my journey since I was little girl, but I’m happy I could share my story with you ladies! You never know how your story will motivate others! I discussed in this video that I am currently using the Center For Medical Weight Loss or CMWL so far in my weight loss. I was going to list the center that I currently go to, but I went to my CMWL meeting yesterday, and my doctor told me he is retiring! I am sooo upset about that! So now I have to figure out if I want to continue on CMWL, or go about doing things on my own again.  I will give you an update on that later on that!

So darling divas revamp your lifestyle changes! Try a new food, a new workout, or call in some outside help if need be! Whatever you do be comfortable in what you do, and do it for you! Make goals and make a plan and get it done!
