Today we are breaking down all the looks from the most recent lookbook which is the Tertiary lookbook. This lookbook this week is packed with colors and florals, and I can wait to show you the breakdown. So let’s get into this short and sweet video!
I hope you enjoyed today’s commentary. We have two more lookbooks, so make sure you stay tuned next week and the following week! Ready for the breakdown?
Look 1
If this layering masterpiece is too casual for you, then don’t fret! It can be dressed up for a night out with a black blazer, pumps, a clutch, and silver accessories for a sophisticated and chic look that will definitely have heads turning!

Look 2
This beautiful floral look is perfect for a casual day, but can also be worn during night time. Just rock with nude pumps and a clutch, and gold accessories to transform this into a super glam look that is great for Girls Night!
Look 3
Become a boss babe at work by rocking this look as is, or tone it down a bit by swapping out the top for some more neutrals to match any work codes. But if you can rock this colorful look with no problem, go for it! You won’t be sorry!

That concludes the second Color Commentary video that is apart of The Power of Color series happening here on the blog. I hope you all are enjoying this series just as much as I enjoyed making it! The Power of Color: Primary

Hello, All My Darling Divas!

Happy October! If you have been apart of the NoMinusPlus family for a while, then you would know that every October I do a monthly series. I have done the seven deadly sins, an Icon series, and an element series so far. For this year’s series, I decided that I wanted to play with color, so I present to you all The Power of Color series: A 4 lookbook ode to the color wheel! This year I am doing things a little different. I will explain more, but there will basically be no video. Instead, you can get the looks right here on the blog! So every Wednesday a power of color video drops, and every Friday a story behind the color will drop where I explain each color combo of each lookbook. So shall we begin?

Primary Colors
Art. a color, as red, yellow, or blue, that in mixture yields other colors.
The first color combination that I ever got introduced to was Primary colors. They remind me of primary school, first time things, so I decided it should go first in this series! Can you believe that this is the first time that I realized how good Red, Yellow, and Blue look together!

Look1
Turban: Gifted
Earrings: ElinPapiForBabi
Tank top: Walmart
Jacket: DebShops
Jeans Marshalls
Shoes: Payless

What I love about primary colors is that they are vibrant and are the basic colors in the color wheel. Every color combo comes from primary colors, and I think that is so powerful. How amazing is it that so many color combos come from just three colors!
LOOK 2
 Jacket: Rainbow
Top: Burlington Coat Factory
Skirt: LulaRoe
What I also love about the Primary color palette is that it pairs so well with prints. In this lookbook, I have paired it with stripes, and animal print and both just go with the color combo effortlessly.
So I hope you all have enjoyed the first portion of The Power of Color series! Get ready for a month filled with color prints! Now you gotta be sure to come back every Friday as well for The Color Story: An explanation and a break down of every blog post you will see on Wednesdays. So you still get your Wed and Fri post, it’s just all themed around color! So I love you lots like tater tots, and I will see you on Friday!
