Styling My Recent Haul

Happy Friday Darling Divas!
Do you remember last Friday’s Video?( If not feel free to Click Here to Refresh) I showed you a fabulous haul, and I mentioned in that video that I would be styling those pieces at another time. Well ladies and gents, the time has arrived! Today on the blog I am styling the pieces from my recent haul! I had a lot of fun creating random looks, so I think I may start styling the pieces that I haul! So enough of the chit-chat let’s get into the video!

Did you enjoy? I hope so! I love how random and fun this video was! I am already looking forward to my next haul so that I get to do this again! I really do love Fashion, so anytime that I get to create outfits is a good time in my book! Let’s get into the breakdown of the outfits!

Preppy With A Pop
Jacket and Skirt-Target
Top- A scarf tied around my Bra
I don’t consider my style to be preppy at all, but there is something about this skirt that I just love so much! I am a sucker for stripes, so I know that sold me. But the bird print? I am in love with it! I can’t wait to rock this with a crisp white button up, and tie-up flats!
Oversize my Florals
Jacket- Fashion to Figure ( Via Dia&Co)
Pants- Target
As soon as I laid eyes on this pair of pants, was in love! They are definitly too big for me, but I could care less! That’s what I love about Fashion. That you can pretty much rock any piece no matter what! If it’s too big, or too small I always love getting creative and finding a Fashion Hack to still rock it!
90’s Vibes
Bra and Short Set- Rue21
Jacket- DebShops
Jeans- Burlington Coat Factory
I am a proud 90’s baby, so I was inspired by that tomboy look of that time! Think of Aaliyah’s wardrobe! Usually the pants are alot baggier, but I like the fact that my pants are fitted. I shows a pop of sexy without revealing too much.
Peplum Princess
Top- Walmart
Skirt and Belt- Fashion to Figure
If it’s a Peplum, it has to go in my closet. I swear I am addicted to anything that has a Peplum detail! Its just such a fun style! When I locked eyes on this skirt I just knew it had to come home with me! I love that I can make this skirt casaul with the chambray blouse. All I have to do is add sneakers and a crossbody bag and I have a look that is great for a date night or brunch!
So ladies that’s it for today’s video. I hope you enjoyed it just as much as I enjoyed creating it! This concludes this week’s blogpost, but dont worry! I will be right back here next week with 2 brand spanking new videos! I am currently still on Vacay, and will be attending Miami Curves Week tomorrow, so be sure to follow me on social media to check out the event! I have dropped so many OOTD’s of the pieces in this video, so if you want to see how I actually styled them for Vacay, check out my links above! I love you lots like tater tots, thank you for all your support, and I will see you all next week!

Get Packed With Me: How to Build a Vacation Wardrobe

Happy Hump Day Darling Divas!
Although I am away on vacation, that doesn’t mean that I can’t post! Today’s video is the perfect topic to discuss because it’s all about getting packed for a Summer getaway! Today I am coming at you with the second video in the Get Packed With Me series that I started earlier this year! Its more developed, and has a lot more direction, so I am pretty excited to show you guys some more content! Each Get Packed with me video will have a topic, and today’s is all about building the perfect vacation wardrobe! So grab your passports, and watch the video below!

I hope you have enjoyed the video! If you liked it and want more in this series leave your ideas in the comment section below! You can click here to check out the first video in this series. Let’s recap what we learned today!

Every great travel wardrobe starts with a list ( or in my case 2)
Organization is always critical when it comes to pretty much anything! I find that if I write it down, I don’t forget it, so a packing list saves the day every time it’s time for me to travel. I jot down the types of outfits I need, and then from there, I start to pull things from my closet. Once that’s all done if I notice I need a couple extra pieces I make a shopping list so that I can grab what I need, and not what I don’t need.
When building the actual wardrobe remember to keep these four points in mind.
1. Weather
Be sure to pull up your favorite weather app( or channel) and check out the weather during the week to the place you’re traveling to. This allows you to know what kind of outfits you need to bring and will help you be prepared instead of having to run around and find something to switch up the looks. Never assume, always check!
2. Attire
Every vacation and trip are different, so you want to make sure you are bringing the type of clothes that cater to the kind of trip you’re going to. There’s nothing like showing up to an event or gathering, and you’re underdressed, or overdressed. Determine what kind of clothes you need, and let the creation of the outfits begin.
3. Don’t Bulk It Up
You want to make sure that you leave some room for whatever you may purchase while you’re gone, so don’t choose pieces that are too thick.  Limit them to 1-3 and watch all the space clear up.
4. Try it on
I can’t stress enough how important it is to try things on! If you skip steps 1-3, that’s cool, but this step you CANNONT skip! Since you don’t have the option of swapping things out while your gone, you need to try everything on before you pack it. That way you know exactly what your outfit looks like, and there are no surprises and OOTD’s that you are secretly hating.
So, ladies, that’s all for today’s blog post. If you want to see what I’m wearing on vacation be sure to check out my social media! I have posted plenty of OOTD’s! My social media is linked all above if you are interested! Be sure to come right back here on Friday for another blog post! I love you lots like tater tots, and I will see you all on Friday!

Black and White with a Pop!

Hello, Darling Divas!

Finally right?? I have been talking about posting a lookbook for about a week, and I am FINALLY up here to show it to you! This lookbook is perfect for the girl who’s closet is filled with black and white. The girl who loves monochromatic looks, and is looking just to kick it up a notch. And the best way to do that is to add a pop of color somewhere! Today I am showing you this Black and White With a Pop lookbook that showcases adding color in the most subtle way. Enough of the chit-chat, let’s get started!

Did you enjoy this lookbook? I hope so! I usually create lookbooks filled with prints and vibrant colors, so it was nice to just switch things up a bit! Which look was your fave? Comment it down below!

Black and White is a neutral color palette that everybody should have in their wardrobe. They are both easy colors to match with, and pretty much every color goes with it! Check out the four different ways that I added a pop of color to each look!

Look 1
A pop of color with shoes
This casual look is perfect for weekends in Summer! Adding the touch of red in the shoes is what really brings this look together!
Look 2
A Pop of Color with a Jacket
I created this look with the business casual woman in mind! If your workplace is more traditional the best way to add color is with a jacket. This fabulous mustard blazer that I got in one of my Dia boxes is perfect for any office!
Look 3
A pop of color with accessories
This look is my favorite in today’s blogpost! I love how the color of the purse compliments my cheetah print shoes! Cheetah is another neutral color in my world, so it was the perfect addition to this look. The best way to add some pizazz to any look is with accessories, so use some to add color to your next outfit!
Look 4
A Pop of Color with Lipstick
I live for bright and vivid lipsticks and often use it to add some color to my outfits. If it can add come color to my makeup look, it can definitely add color to a whole outfit!
So, ladies, that’s it for today’s blog post! I hope you have enjoyed all the black and white looks! You should definitely follow me on social media! I am always posting updates over there, and sometimes I even drop sneak peeks on the next blog post! If you not following NoMinusplus on social media, then check out the links above to start following today! I love you lots like tater tots, and I will see you tomorrow!
