Welcome to another week here on the blog! Today’s blog post is going to be all about adding some glam to your coat! The colder weather has us all bundling up, and with the tips in this video, you can do it in style! So let’s get into this video!
Did you enjoy? I hope so! When it’s cold outside the first thing everybody sees’s is your coat, so don’t be afraid to make a statement! Let’s break down those four tips!
Tip #1- Pick a bold colored coat
There are so many beautiful colored coats out there, so don’t be afraid to pick a funky color or print! It will give your winter gear some attitude, and will surely get you motivated to leave the house when its cold out! You’re going to want to show off your beautiful coat!
Tip #2 Add Detail with a scarf
I can’t event begin to tell you how many different colored scarves there are out there! Pair your coat with a fun colored one to brighten up a coat, or with a printed one to compliment a colored coat. I like to use the color wheel to help me make bold color choices. Check out this one below and try out a color combo that you have never tried before!
Tip #3 Add cool accessories
If you like some bling, add a brooch. If you’re more of an edgy girl, add leather gloves. This will put your own personal twist on your look, and might even inspire people around you to do the same!
Tip #4 Belt It!
This tip is perfect for if your coat is a bit on the older side, or if it has no shape. Belts bring in your shape in outfits, so they will, of course, do the same with your coat! If you find that your coat is really giving you no shape, and at the moment you can’t replace it, add a belt! You can also add a belt to a perfectly fine coat just to give it some pizazz!
