Fashion Trends I loved in High School

Hello, All My Darling Divas!

Welcome to another week here on the blog! I hope that you had an amazing Thanksgiving, and spent lots of time eating and loving on your family and friends! I am back today with your Monday blog post! Today we are going back in time. I am going to sharing with you some of my favorite trends from High School. Although it wasn’t that long ago that I graduated from High School( S/O to the Class of 2010), but my style has definitely evolved since then! So let’s get into this flashback video!

Did you enjoy?? I hope so! What year did you graduate High School, and what were your fave fashions to wear? Comment them down below!

Trend Then Printed Leggings
So I wasn’t able to find a picture of me rocking my leggings from back in the day, but I was able to find two of my fave pairs of leggings from back in the day! I can’t tell you guys how much I loved wearing these! I actually was pretty sad the day I had to throw them out.
Update: I was able to find a picture of me wearing the leggings!
Trend Now Printed Pants
I have since then traded my printed leggings for printed pants! They are a fun way to spice up any look, and I honestly feel like a true Diva whenever I wear them! You have seen me rock printed pants here on the blog, and you will continue to see them here!
Trend Then Accessories Overload
I loveedd accessories so much back in high school I was always wearing some type of oversized glasses, a billion bracelets, or big earrings. My outfit wouldn’t be complete without at least three accessories, and my 16yr old self would be so upset with me because I barely wear any at all!

 Trend Now Simple Jewelry
Every once in awhile I break out my jewelry. This may seem like a lot, but this is not as much as I used to wear! I wouldn’t wear all of this on the same day, but I would probably pick one out of these two styles to add some bling to my look!
Trend Then Major Layering
First of all, let’s talk about how much of a throwback this picture is first of all! Taking photos like this were so popular back in the day! I am located on the top right and as you can see my layering game is strong! My best friend is to the left of me, and her outfit is also another look that I used to rock! Layering short sleeved shirts, over long sleeved ones was everything!
Trend Now Simple Layering
All of these outfits are the product of layering! Simple layering can come together to create the best outfits. I did a whole blog post on layering last year. You can click here to check it out if you want! I pretty much use layering now to create illusions of one whole outfit. Before you could clearly see I was layering, but now the way I layer you can’t tell!

Trend Then: Vest Go with Everything
It was very common that I would be wearing a vest with my outfit. I swore up and down that they went with everything! They kinda do, b
ut then again they don’t

Trend Now- A Vest Every Once In a While
I don’t really wear a lot of vests now, but if I do I usually go for a longer one. It fits my shape well, and they add drama to my look. I don’t add then to all my looks like back in the day, but everyone once in a while, for me, is ok!

So, ladies, that’s all for today’s blog post! I hope you have enjoyed going down this trip to memory lane with me! Are you following me on social media yet? You should be! Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas

Hello, All My Darling Divas!
Welcome to another week here on the blog! With turkey day coming up I decided to put together this quick little video giving you some Thanksgiving outfit ideas. I hope they will give you some inspiration on what to wear on Gobble Day! Let’s get into the video!

Did you enjoy the video? I hope so! Which look do you see yourself wearing for Thanksgiving? Comment down below! Let’s get into the breakdown for each look!

Pass the Gravy
 Top: Junarose
Denim Shirt: Fashion to Figure
Leggings- Lysse ( Via Dia&Co)
Sorry that this picture is so terrible! I actually forgot to take a picture of this look, so I had to grab a snapshot from the video. (Terrible I know) But this look is perfect for your casual dinner table. It’s comfortable, easy to move in! If leggings aren’t, you can swap them out for jeans!
Formal With The Fam
Top: Burlington Coat Factory
Cardigan: Forever21
Pants: Old Navy
This look is great formal look for dinner. It’s a great balance between formal and casual. The pop of print makes you fashion forward but still comfortable. If printed pants aren’t your thing, you can always swap them out for a solid colored pant.
Hostess With The Mostess
Dress: Target
A form fitting bodycon dress is a great choice for meeing your boo’s family! If you pick one that is made of a jersey material, then it will be easy to move in. If you pick a dress that is a bit too short, you can always add leggings and boots with it to make it more appropriate. If body con dresses aren’t your thing, you can go with another style of dress that is similar, or you can wear an outfit like the Formal with the Fam look!
Hostess with the Mostess
Top: Fashion to Figure (Via Dia.Co)
 Skirt: Eloquii ( Via Dia.Co)
This look just screams welcome to my home! After you get done prepping your home to welcome to your Thanksgiving guest, you have to also get ready! Grab a skirt and a blouse to get ready in a flash! This bright, vibrant outfit welcomes people into your home, and you are going to look fabulous! If skirts aren’t your thing, then swap it out for pants!
So ladies I hope that this video has inspired you and helped you out with your Thanksgiving outfits! The outfits you see here won’t be on Pinterest, but I will be putting together four different outfit ideas based off the looks you see here. If you’re interested in that, then click here to check it out! Happy Thanksgiving Darling Divas! I am truly thankful for you all, and I hope you have a wonderful holiday! I love you lots like tater tots, and I will see you all on Friday with a new blogpost!

Dia&Co (Nov) Styling and Try On Video

Hello, All My Darling Divas!
Welcome back to another day here on the blog! As promised in yesterday’s video, I am here today with the styling and try on video for my November Dia&Co unboxing. If you missed that, then you can click here to check it out! In today’s video, I show you guys what each item looks like tried on, what I am going to keep and send back, and how I would style each piece. If you want to order a Dia box of your very own, then click here! So let’s get into the video!

Did you enjoy the try on??? I hope so! I really enjoyed my box this month, and just had to keep each piece! So let’s get into the breakdown!

 State Street Crossbody
Size: OS
Keeping?: Yes!

This crossbody bag is pretty much my ENTIRE LIFE! I love small crossbody bags like this. They come in handy for everything! A crossbody bag like this is simple to style. I love pairing cheetah print with olive green, so I would pair this bag with a pair of distressed olive green skinny jeans a black top and boots for a cute weekend look!

For Cheeta Crossbody
 Eloquii Rosa Midi Skirt
Size: 20
Keeping?: Yes!
Sorry for the terrible photo! I had to screen shot it from the video since I forgot to take an actual picture! I surprisingly don’t have a lot of skirts in my closet, so this green one had to stay! It’s perfect for the holidays! I would wear it with a bodysuit tucked in, pumps, and a jeweled clutch for Christmas party, or I would rock it with an oversized sweater and chucks for a casual look!
For Green Midi Skirt
Fashion To Figure- Camden Bomber Jacket
Size:1X
Keeping?: Yes!
I love this jacket!! It’s super soft and fits me so well. I am usually not a fan of floral print, but something about this jacket just makes me so happy.  I would rock this bomber jacket with a skater skirt and booties for a casual look! If I wanted to dress it up, I would pair it with Faux leather leggings, pumps, and a green clutch for an edgy look!
For Floral Bomber Jacket
 JunaRose- Maya Hi-Low Top
Size: 1x

Keeping?: Yes!

I surprisingly don’t have a lot of basics in my wardrobe, so this piece had to stay with me. There are so many things you can do with a simple piece like this. I would dress it down with joggers and boots, or dress it up with a fabulous pencil skirt and a choker!
For Black Top
 ASOS Curve Velvet Leggings
Size: UK20
Keeping?: YES!
If it’s velvet, I have to have it!! It is my fave clothing material, and I swear if I could wear anything for the rest of my life it would be something made out of velvet. I have had my eyes on this pair of leggings for so long, and I am glad I snagged them! I would pair them with a top and jean jacket for a casual look, or a tunic top and red pumps to add some color to them to dress them up!
For Velvet Leggings
So ladies this completes the Dia&Co November Styling and Try on video! If you were counting along, then you know that this was another Full Box Purchase!! Luna as always has done a fabulous job, and I just had to keep them all! That wraps up this week’s blogpost! Be sure to come back here on Monday for a brand spanking new week of new videos!! Are you following me on social media yet? You should be! All of them are listed below if you are interested! I love you lots like tater tots, and I will see you next week!
