Green Overload

Hello, All My Darling Divas!

Welcome back  to another week here on the blog. I am here today with a very simple and fun makeup tutorial! Warm weather is finally coming our way, and of course that means it’s time to break out all your vibrant colors. My look today was def inspired by my green hair! I talked about it in my blogpost last week, so click here to check it out! Green is definitely one of my fave colors of the moment and you can blame that all on my new green tresses! I wanted to do something really fun and bold, so I decided to whip out some cool liner. So watch the video and meet me below for more details and pics!

Green With Envy

Hello, All My Darling Divas!

Welcome back to another day here on the blog! As promised, I am back today to talk all about my green hair! Now this was supposed to be video, but I am still suffering some technical difficulties so hopefully this is ok! I decided to take a break from crochet braids and try something new for my graduation. This hairstyle has a bit of a story, so let me just start from there.

I was first supposed to have this hairstyle for my birthday this past January. I ordered it to match my dress and everything! But unfortunately, there was a terrible snowstorm so my hair delivery got delayed and ended up coming after my birthday.

You can click here to check out my GRWM Bday post for more details. This green hair would have looked bomb with this outfit! But the purple hair was just fine.

So I thought hmm when will I be able to use this hair? I bought it so I’m not going to waste it. Then it hit me. GRADUATION! How cool and different would it be if I rocked this hair to graduation? And I did and it looks fabulous!
You can click here to check out my graduation post from yesterday.

Now since I didn’t get crochet braids I had to look and find somebody to install this hair. I headed over to StyleSeat and started to find some research to find some stylist in my area. I came across a stylist named Jaz who is located in Maplewood. I originally went to her in January to get a consultation and she told me exactly what hair to get, and what style I would be getting which would be a quick weave. She was really great and helped make this process so much easier.

You can click here to locate Jaz on StyleSeat. There you will be able to find a description of the services she offers, you can schedule an appointment, and read recommendations from her other clients. Styleseat is the perfect way to find beauty services in your area! Check it out. StyleSeat is available online and an app.
Hair Details
I have 2 packs of  Milkyway Remy Human Hair Weave Pure Yaky Ombre Two Tone installed for this quick weave. I have it in the color OTEMERALD, and I purchased lengths 10 and 12 inches. You can click here to purchase it where I did. Its very affordable and the hair is holding up great so far.

I am loving this hairstyle so far! It’s so me, and I’m glad that I switched it up and tried something new. I will definitely be going back to crochet braids, but I’m going to experiment with this hair for awhile. I do plan on doing a styling and maintenance video for this hair, so stay tuned for that.
More Pics!

So, ladies, that’s it for today’s blogpost. What kind of hair will you be rocking this summer? I say t
ry something new, and bold! You won’t regret it at all! I plan to experiment more with colors and different styles of hair. Be sure to come right back here next week for two brand spanking new blogpost! The NoMinusPlus break is finally over, and we are getting things back on track! The Graduate

Hello All My Darling Divas!

It has been about a MONTH since the last time that we have talked to each other. It killed me to step away, but ya girl had to get herself together because I was trying to graduate! On May 17th, 2016 I walked across the stage at Met Life stadium and earned a B.A. in English from Fairleigh Dickinson University! I can go on for hours telling you my personal struggle in college, but just know that this was a lonnggg time coming and I’m proud to finally be done! I decided that I would come up here and share with you all this moment, and congrats to all my other fellow members of the class of 2016!

This day was honestly one of the greatest days in my life. My college experience has truly changed me for the better and I am so proud of myself for sticking it out and finishing. I entered in 2010  shy and unsure of what my future would hold. I left an outspoken, confident woman who knows her future is filled with nothing but success. I started this blog in college, lived on my own for the first time, and found my voice. This experience was truly one for the books, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. If your’e currently in college, school, or in any point in your life and you feel like giving up DONT! Getting to the finish line is an award that I can’t even wrap up into words. You have to truly find out for yourself!

My Grad pics were taken by my talented best friend Asha! You can follow her on IG @Ashaephotography. Tell her I sent ya!

The Look
I wanted to wear white at my graduation since I started college back in 2012! White is just such a angelic pure color, and I wanted to feel like that on my big day. I got this AMAZING jumpsuit from Fashion to Figure. I wanted to be different and not wear a dress and this jumpsuit def was exactly everything I was looking for.
My outfit pics and pics taken that day were shot by my little sister Kayla! She is truly developing an eye for photography, and I am so proud of her!

And of course I can’t leave out my hair! I know it’s green! But I promise we will talk more about that in tomorrow’s video! So stay tuned for that!
So ladies that’s all for today’s blogpost! I am back and officially ready to get back to business on NoMinusPlus! The summer is coming and I  have a lot planned! Feel free to follow me on my social media! It’s all linked above and my snapchat is BrieLikeMe. Be sure to follow the blog’s IG page at Nominusplus. Be sure to come back here tomorrow for another blogpost! It will be all about my new hair! So until then ladies I love you lots like tator tots, and see you all tomorrow!
