Some are practical, and some are absolutely over the top, but I guess that just defines my style! So lets get into it!

My faves from Forever21

First of all can we get into how fabulous Denise Bidot looks!!! She is my FAVE plus size model ,and she makes this jacket look absolutely gorgeous! I love this coats color, and length. It’s such a neutral color, and I feel like it will pair well with alot of outfits. Since I am a tall girl I really love long coats, so this one I am for sure crushing on right now!

Forever21 is definitely coming through with the longline jackets this season! I also love this jacket because its so casual, and neutral. These long jackets I am just soo in love with right now, and I cant help but want to buy them all. Don’t be surprised if you guys only see me in longline jackets this season!

This jacket has all of favorite elements in one coat. Fur, a belt, and black. I feel like this coat is very Carrie Bradshaw, and I am loving that! I feel like this coat will make your curves looking amazing, and that pop of fur will make you look like a million bucks! Although I am allergic to Wool, I don’t mind a trip to the E.R. for this jacket.
My faves from FTF
Plus Size Eden Buckle Sleeve Coat
Eden Buckle Sleeve Coat in Royal Blue $69.90
This is my favorite shade of blue in the whole entire world! When I saw the shape and color of this coat, I was instantly hooked! I love how the coat overlaps in the front, and the color of this coat is just to die for!

Black Friday Shopping and Budget Tips!

Hello All My Darling Divas!
Welcome back to another day on the blog! I mentioned in yesterday’s video that I would be talking to you darling divas today about black Friday shopping and budging tips! If you missed the blogpost from yesterday click here! It was double curlbox unboxing! This week is Thanksgiving weekend, and Thanksgiving weekend means MASSIVE SHOPPING! Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday awaits us this weekend, and I have a couple of tips and tricks that you can apply to your shopping trip to ensure you get everything you want without breaking the bank! Retail and you bank account should have a happy relationship, and hopefully this video will help you out with out with out! So let’s get into the video!
Did you enjoy the video? I hope it helps you with your shopping this weekend. Let’s quickly go over the 5 tips again really quickly.
1. Set a budget for yourself.
This give you a cut off number, and gives you an end point. We always have to have an end point!
2. Stay away from credit!
Unless of course you have to. Save credit for possibly bigger purchases, and really think about if you want to use your credit. If you do decide to you use it think about if you will have the money to pay it off in a couple of weeks. Owing something always sucks! If you dont have to owe something that is always better!
3.  Make a Shopping List
Since I am an organization freak this is so important for me! This tip is optional, but it kinda gives your shopping some direction. You know what stores or sites to visit, and you know what your getting. That way your money doesn’t get wasted on careless things, and you can get what you really want. Then you can spend any leftover money on the stuff you really don’t need!
4. Shop from Biggest to Smallest
Get the bigger purchases out the way first. So if you are buying a big ticket item, then buy that item first. That way you get the more expensive item out of the way. Big ticketed items like electronics, furniture, and appliances are things that are never really on sale like this ,so you might want to grab those first. Then you can spend your money on small things like apparel and makeup with whatever you have left. If you have nothing left after buying you big ticket item at least you got your big item for a low price! Clothes and stuff are ALWAYS going to be on sale.
5. Realize that there will always be another sale!
Don’t worry if you can’t participate in this years sales! There will always be another one. You can save up for another sale, or go shopping at another time! Don’t stress over trying to shop this weekend to catch all these good deals! They tell you in the advertisements that there will never be another good deal like this again, but trust me there will be!
If you are going to physically participate in Black Friday shopping be careful! Don’t go crazy out there and get into fights over products! (lol) Have fun and happy shopping! I hope you all have an amazing Thanksgiving, and fill you bellies with lots of food! Feel free to follow me on my social media by clicking on the links above. I would love to be connected with you! So until next week ladies, love ya lots like tator tots!

October Curlbox Rundown & Product Review

Proganix Coconut H20 Quench Shampoo
shampoo

First of all these products all smell so great! I started off with the Shampoo of course, and I didn’t really like it too much. I always have a problem with Organix’s shampoo’s because they make my hair feel really dry and stripped. So while my hair is clean, it feels really dry. I wouldn’t try this product again.
Proganix Coconut H2O Quench Conditioner
conditioner
I followed with the conditioner after I shampooed. It added moisture back to my hair, so for a conditioner it did it’s job. I wouldn’t say I am head over heels over this conditioner, but it did its job. I wouldn’t try it again.
Proganix Coconut H2O Quench Leave-In Moisture Conditioner
leave-in moisture
I dried my hair using the T-shirt method, and then added this product. It gave my hair moisture, and I was definitely looking for that after I finished shampooing it. I am sucker for Leave-In-Conditioner, but I wouldn’t buy this product again.
Proganix Coconut H2O Quench Moisture Balm
moisture balm
I applied this product after I applied the leave-in moisture, and I have to say it made my hair feel super soft! I then went to put my hair in bantu knots, and when to sleep. When I took my bantu knots down in the morning, my hair was even softer then the day before! I really was relived because I was really worried about the moisture not being added back into my hair. I liked this product, but I wouldn’t buy it again.
Final Verdict: Overall I wasn’t too impressed with this collection of products. But I feel its because I not a fan of Organix products period. They never do anything great for my hair, but I just keep trying different lines of the products to see where I can fit in. I just think they personally are no good for my hair. One of my friends tried the products and LOVED THEM! So that just goes to show you that everything isn’t for everybody! I would say to try out the products for yourself, and see what you think!

Black & Blue

Hello All My Darling Divas!

Welcome back to the blog! We are now back to our regular scheduled programming here on the blog, and were going to kick it off by talking about my new hair! I have yet another crochet braid installation, and yall know I have to give you guys all the details! You guys know my stylist Shirley hooked me up, and this time I wanted some long hair!  I was going to just do an all black style, but I needed a pop of color. You can never go wrong with blue in my book, so I grabbed a pack of blue hair, and this fabulous hairstyle was born!

For this style I used 5 packs of the Harlem 125 Brand of Kanekalon Braiding hair in the color 1 and 1 pack of the color Navy . To achieve the curls in this hair I used small perm rods, and followed this tutorial here. This is the same method and hair that I used for my last crochet braids. I just used a different color, and didn’t cut the packs in half.  I would recommend getting more hair then you need  just in case. I love this curl pattern sooo much! It’s a very tedious and long process, so be prepared!
Every night I put my hair in four bantu knots, and I just put a silk bonnet on my hair and go to sleep. I slick my edges down with the Design Essentials Natural Honey & Shea Edge Tamer that I received in my curl box a couple of months ago.
I am really loving crochet braids! It has been my go-to style all year, and there is no telling when I’m going to give it up! Here is just a quick view of all my crochet styles that I have done this year! They are such a fun and inexpensive way to switch up your hair!
So ladies that’s it for today’s blogpost! Be sure to meet me back here tomorrow for your second blogpost for this week! Feel free to follow me on social media! They are all linked above! I would love to be connected with you! Until tomorrow, love ya lots like tator tots!
