Blazers Galore

Happy Tuesday Darling Divas!

Welcome back to another day on the blog! Today’s blog post will be fashion related, and I am honestly excited about it. Fall is honestly my favorite season to dress for, and lately I have had an unhealthy obsession with Blazers! They are such a versatile piece of clothing to style, and you definitely need to run out and grab a couple if you don’t have one in your closet! This lookbook celebrates how many ways you can style a blazer. You can dress it up or dress it down, and look cute every single time! So lets get into the looks.

Fuchsia Frenzy
I recently took a trip to the goodwill with my best friend Asha, and as soon I entered the blazers section I fell in love! I saw this fuchsia blazer and I instantly knew I had to have it! I decided to dress this blazer up by adding a ruffled dress from Fashion to Figure with a high heel from Nine West that also has ruffles. I decided to bring in my waist by adding this black and silver detailed belt that was gifted to me. I decided to add some texture and fun by adding a checkered print purse that I got from Burlington Coat Factory.
Safari Goddess
This outfit is my favorite look in this lookbook! I saw this long African printed blazer from the goodwill and it had SHOULDER PADS! I love a good shoulder pad ladies. Sometimes I wish I was in my twenty’s in the 80’s so that I could have rocked this trend! (lol) I love anything printed, and when I saw this I definitely HAD to have it! With longer pieces like this blazer I like to pair it with something short to play with the length of my outfit. I paired this look with a black crop top from Eloquii, a black skater skirt from Deb Shops and black booties from Just Fab. I felt like this outfit needed a touch of something so I added a this gold cheetah belt from Burlington Coat Factory.

Black on Black
Now this is one of my go to outfits. I absolutely love dressing down blazer with some simple pieces. By adding these black leggings from Eloquii, a crop top from Zelie for She, and a some red sneakers from Target I have transformed a Black tuxedo type blazer into a casual outfit. I love outfits like this because simple pieces come together to make a comfortable cute outfit.
Polka Dot Blues
This outfit its just so adorable to me! This blue blazer from Burlington Coat Factory is typically a pretty dressy blazer. But by adding this fun polka dot printed skirt from Fashion to Figure, and  this black turtleneck that was thrifted, this blazer turns from the office to a night out on the town. These booties from Ashley Stewart and this linked silver belt that was gifted pulls in this look and gives it a nice touch.
Forever a Cheetah Girl
Cheetah print will forever be my favorite everything! I grabbed this cheetah print blazer from the Goodwill I instantly was obsessed! What I loved about this blazer is that it is cropped, and I love a good cropped jacket. I decided to pair this jacket with some basic essentials. A green basic tee from Forever21, jeans from fashion to figure, and knee high boots from Deb Shops, this cropped cheetah print jacket instantly becomes a comfortable casual outfit.

2 Shades of Grey
This outfit is perfect for a fashionista like me. It mixes comfort with fashion and I absolutely love it. I like to wear outifts like this to work since I am on my feet all day, but still need to look professional and cute. This grey blazer from Target is super comfortable! Its made out of cotton, and it is one of my favorite pieces to wear right now. This white top is from Torrid, the printed pants are from Old Navy, and the flats are from Payless. I love a good outfit that is also comfortable.
So ladies that’s it for today’s blogpost! I hope you enjoyed this lookbook as much as I enjoyed creating it! Blazers are my obsession this fall, and I hope that after you look at this lookbook you will be inspired to be obsessed with them too!  Feel free to follow me on my social media. They are all linked above! Be sure to come right back here next week for another two blogpost here on the blog! I am SUPER EXCITED to share with you guys some thing special happening next month! Be sure to stay tuned. So until then I love you lots like tator tots, and see you next week!

Beauty Basic’s Episode #2- Brows

Happy Monday Darling Divas!
Welcome back to the blog! I hope you had a wonderful weekend, but it’s time to  get back to business! Now last week I introduced  the Beauty Basics series here at NoMinusPlus! In the last episode I talked about the importance of prepping your skin for makeup and removing your makeup properly. If you want to check that out click here! Now episode 2 was supposed to be up the next day, but since it was such a long video it too FOREVER to upload! I decided to work on it more, and now its finally ready to present! So today in this episode of the beauty basics series we are going to be talking all about BROWS!!!! Eyebrows are a very important part of  doing your makeup. If your eyebrows aren’t on point then your whole makeup look will not be on point! So today I will be showing you how to groom, fill, and clean up your brows. Since this video was soo long, I had to break this video in two parts! So part one will be showing you how to groom your brows, and part two will be showing you how to properly fill in and clean up your brows. Breaking up these videos in two parts also works because now you can choose which part you want to learn. If you want to lean how to just groom your brows then just watch video one, and if you want to fill and clean up your brows just watch part two of the video. Of course if you want to learn it all then watch both parts! Now enough of the talking, lets get to the videos!

Part 1

Part 2

Did you enjoy the videos? I really hope you did! I hope that it taught you something new! Now since I have alot of information to share in this video, I am going to split the info according to each part of this video. So lets first discuss Part 1 which is the grooming process.

Part 1 Grooming
In the first video we talked all about grooming your brows. Before you even add a brow products to your face you need to make sure that all the unnecessary hairs are gone from your brows. By grooming your brows you also give yourself a clear guideline for when it’s time to fill them in. There are soo many tools that you can use to remove your hair. Below I will show you my top suggestions for each tool I mentioned in the video.
If you want to use tweezer’s I recommend:

  Tweezerman Slant Tweezer

If you want to use eyebrow razor’s I recommend
 Image result for eyebrow razor

Tinkle Eyebrow Razors

If you want to use a facial hair removal cream I recommend:

Nair Hair Remover Face Cream in the Sensitive Skin Formula

If you want to use an electric facial hair  trimmer I recommend:
Kiss Super Groom Precision Hair Trimmer

Kiss Super Groom Precision Hair Trimmer

With all of these facial hair removal tools and products please use with caution and be careful! These items are sharp or use chemicals so you want to make sure that you properly choose whats best for you, and be safe!

To draw your guide on where to remove hair I used a silver eyeliner pencil from NYX. I would recommend using a White eyeliner pencil because you can really see the hairs that you want to use.

The white eyeliner I recommend is:

Wet n Wild Color Icon Liner Brow & Eye Pencil in White

Part 2 Fill

There are seriously so many brow fill in products on the market for you to use! You can use powder, pencils, gel’s, pretty much anything to fill in your brows! I switch between powder and pencil, but I love trying out new brow products.

If you want to use a eyebrow powder/cream I recommend:

Image result for e.l.f. eyebrow kit

E.L.F Eyebrow Kit

If you want to use a brow pencil I recommend:

Color Icon Brow Pencil

Wet n wild Color Icon Brow

Feel free to try out whatever brow product interests you! However if you are a beginner I would stick to a pencil and powder since they are the easiest to work with. You can also use a eye shadow color that is the same color of your brow if you cant get your hands on products!

Part 3 Clean Up

Now the clean up process of brows is where the magic happens! This adds that sharp perfect brow look that everybody loves. A thick concealer will do the trick, and you want to make sure you get the concealer in a shade 2-3 shades lighter than your skin color so that your brow can really pop.

The concealer I recommend is:

  Concealer Jar

 NYX Concealer in a Jar

So ladies that is all for the brow tutorial! I hope you enjoyed this video, and I hope it really helped! Feel free to follow me on social media! They are all linked above for you to check out! Follow me because I will be making a huge announcement later this week!  Be sure to come back tomorrow for another blogpost! Until then I love you lots like tator tots, and I will see you tomorrow!

Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex Collection Product Review

Hello All My Darling Divas!
Welcome back to the blog! Today I am going to be sharing with you my opinion on the Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex Line that I received in my September Curlbox! If you want to check out that unboxing video the click here. I was super excited to try out his line, and trust me it did NOT disappoint! This superfruit complex promotes that its a 10-in- 1 Renewal system that is perfect for those with dry, brittle hair. So basically if you hair needs a lil TLC then this product line is great for you!  It’s always a good thing to use products from the same line together to get amazing results. I always get excited when I am able to try out a whole product line, so I definitely appreciate Curlbox for coming through with the whole Superfruit Collecton!  This will be a blogpost with no video, so I hope you don’t mind doing a little reading! So enough of the chit chat, lets get into what I think!

Superfruit Complex Hair & Scalp Oil
This product was surprisingly amazing. I really actually loved it! This oil was really light-weight and didn’t leave a super oily residue on my skin. I applied this to my hair before I shampooed as directed on the bottle. This oil was so light and moisturizing that I was able to detangle with this product! The dropper design made it really easy to apply this to my scalp! I basically just parted my hair in sections and dropped the oil. It was barely any mess, and I really felt the product on my hair and scalp. I would purchase this product again.
Superfruit Complex Shampoo

This shampoo is amazing! It is very clarifying so you definitely don’t need alot of this product. It cleansed my hair very well, and made it feel very clean! Since I don’t use a shampoo often its important that whatever shampoo I use really cleans my hair well. Since I also protective style very often, it’s important to make sure that my hair is clean before I put it back up in my next protective style. I would definitely purchase this product again.
Superfruit Complex Conditioner
Now this conditioner is life! As soon as I put this bad boy on my hair after I shampooed it was instantly soft! I absolutely loved it! This made my hair very soft to the touch, and gave my hair amazing slip when I went on to detangle. I would absolutely purchase this again! Yall know how I feel about a good conditioner!
Superfruit Complex Hair Masque
Ok so this stuff right here is MAGIC! This made my hair feel even more soft then it already was! I loved that I followed up with this Hair Masque after I used the conditioner. It was like an added layer of moisture for my hair, and it made my hair feel even better. After the shampoo really cleansed my hair it was important that moisture was added back to my hair. The conditioner and the masque DEFINITELY added that moisture back and then some! I would more than likely buy this product again. It was my favorite product in the Superfruit collection.
My final verdict on the Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex Collection is a super thumbs up! I loved every single product, and would see myself buying each and every one of them again. They worked so well together and made my hair feel so soft and manageable. I would highly recommend that you natural ladies go out and try this line! You will not be disappointed!
So ladies that’s all for today’s blogpost! I hope you enjoyed this product review! Feel free to follow me on any of my social media! I will be announcing very soon about something special that I have been working on, and you don’t want to miss when I announce it! Beauty Basic’s Episode #1- Prep& Remove

Happy Monday Darling Diva’s!
Welcome back to another week on the blog! Today I am finally going to be starting up my beauty basics series! I asked on my social media if anybody would be interested in a series teaching makeup for beginners. I got alot of great feedback on that post, so here it is! This is a ongoing series so it doesn’t have an end date. Im going to just keep on making these basic’s videos until I feel that I have touched on every topic. If you have a particular makeup skill that you want me to show you how to do just leave it on the comments! I will be sure to touch on it if I can! I AM NOT A MAKEUP ARTIST! But I really love makeup. I will be showing how I personally like to apply makeup, and I hope that’s ok! So enough of the  rambling! Let’s get into the video!

Did you enjoy the video?? I hope that you truly did! I hope that it was really informational and helped you out alot. Skincare is very important when it comes to makeup application. You have to take care of your skin before you even put an ounce of makeup on. So I figured this was the perfect video to start the basic’s with. So lets get into the info!

How I prep my skin
Prepping your skin is very important! You want to make sure that you have a clean, smooth, and moisturized surface to apply makeup to. I classify my skin under Normal skin, so I have alot of leeway with what kind of skincare products that I can use. I keep my skincare routine really simple these days since my skin right now is pretty fine. If you would like to see my complete skincare routine click here. I do this routine (and parts of this routine) at the times when my skin is really out of control. During those times I choose not to wear makeup because it actually makes my breakout WORSE.
My Cleanser
St. Ives Apricot Scrub

                                                                        My Moisturizer
                                                                   Nivea Face Cream
Image result for nivea face cream

You can buy both of these products at your local Walmart or Target.

   How I remove my makeup
Properly removing your makeup is just as important as prepping your skin for makeup. You want to make sure that you remove your makeup so that you don’t create any skin problems. When I don’t remove my makeup I end up having really bad breakouts, and ALWAYS wake-up with a pimple. When I remove my makeup properly each time my skin is happy, I am happy, and my makeup looks even more flawless. Granted there are times where I get lazy and just sleep in my makeup, but I really try hard to take it off every night. No matter how tired I am.

                                                                  My makeup remover
Wet n Wild Eye Makeup Remover

You can purchase this at your local drugstore. I also have a tutorial on how to make your very own Makeup Wipes. Click here to check out that video.  After I remove my makeup I use the same products above to cleanse my face.

So ladies that’s it for the first Beauty Basic’s video. I hope it was informative, and I hope that it was helpful! Be sure to come back here tomorrow for another beauty basic’s video! I plan to do two of them a month! Feel free to follow me on social media. They are linked above. So until tomorrow ladies I love you lots like tator tots, and see you soon!

Eloquii Haul& Styling Video

Hello All My Darling Divas!

Welcome back to the blog! Today I am excited because I am finally doing a haul! Retail therapy always makes a girl feel good, and I am so happy to share the goodies that I got with you ladies! Back in June I attended Cuvycon, and while I was there I won a $250 shopping spree from Eloquii! Pretty amazing right? Well I finally cashed in my shopping spree, and got some amazing pieces. This is my first time buying anything from Eloquii and I definitely was nervous. I had no clue what size I was, and I didn’t want to order anything too big or too small. But after paying attention to the customer comments and just going with my gut I actually ordered everything in the right size and that’s great! I’m not going to lie Eloquii at first didn’t have a good impression on me. I’ve known about the brand for a long time and just never wanted to try it out. The pricing was not in my budget, and the clothing I didn’t feel fit my personal style. But now that I have had the chance to own some clothing from Eloquii I am IMPRESSED and OBSESSED! I already have my basket full for another shopping trip! That definitely proves that you shouldn’t knock something until you try it! So enough of my chatter lets get into the video!

Did you enjoy the video? I hope you enjoyed this style of video! I’m hoping to record all my hauls like this from now on, so let me know if you like them this way! So here is the rundown on the items I brought from Eloquii. I brought them all from the sale section, and hopefully all of them are still available!
